Yes, it's one of the first things you need to do when you get one. I was told by the previous owner that it had beeen done already Anyway, they are loctited and have anti-vibration washers on them now. Post 2017 bikes were done at the factory by Suzuki, it only took them 21 years to sort it out5 points

Stopped at the garage first thing this morning to grab a baguette to have for breakfast. Stood behind some young woman who had picked up a couple of croissants and wanted to pay for them using her smartphone. Despite repeated attempts to pay resulting in more aggressive tapping of the phone on the machine it didn’t work. I’m hungry and wishing she’d just fuck off but no, now she decides to try every fucking bank card in her purse. None of them worked and I’m proper grumpy now but still managing to resist the temptation to grab her croissants and eat them in front of her. Only when there was no other option she gets some REAL FUCKING MONEY OUT OF HER PURSE TO PAY.….. Still resisting the urge to assault her for her two croissants I had to laugh when the bloke behind me pointed out that my baguette was probably stale by now.4 points

I did a few days there a good few years back on my Speed Triple. Stayed with friends in Telford for a night and then did a bit of Snowdonia. First day was lovely, the second day not so much! I camped 1 night at a pub in the Snowdonia Park, got soaked the following day, so I gave up on the camping and stayed a couple of nights in a guesthouse in Barmouth to let my kit dry out. I then went down and stayed in a pub in Tenby and then headed back from there. Fortunately, apart from day 2, it was mainly dry. It was a good trip.4 points

I first came across his channel a few years back, when I was researching the Street Scrambler. Triumph loaned him a Gold Line edition to review. He dropped it, trying to do some off-roading on it, and he nearly got stuck in a hollow, that he'd got into, but couldn't get out again! I'm not sure that Triumph have loaned him another bike since that episode!3 points

That was the issue the bike had before the Morocco trip. Plug came off when running, he tightened it and went to Morocco and back, then came it off again returning home, they should have taken that head off and fixed that or replace the head, ignoring an issue like that for thousands of km is probably what killed the engine. Destroying a plug thread probably operator error too? Seems unlikely it destroyed itself. The guy is a twat, but it does take some work to film the kind of movies he does by himself. Riding ahead to set a camera, then riding back to look like he's arriving at the location for the first time, then trying to pose around while talking, then riding off before coming back to pick the camera up.3 points

Well.... I did a thing, I did a thing! So I decided this morning that I was going out for a ride on the bike, just did a short loop from home to bowburn, through Coxhoe and stopped for a quick pic at Fishburn airfield then proceeded to shit myself almost literally when I got back out on to the main road and opened it up in 1st and 2nd... walking pace to North of 130 in about 6 seconds and a power wheelie to boot and the world went very blurred until I shut off the throttle and regained my senses. Then a short while later it lit the rear tyre up at 100mph in 4th.... It's a bloody lunatic!!!2 points

He comes across as a bit of a gullible innocent really, probably to do with his background I would have thought. Seeing the house his parents live in and his accent he probably comes from wealth. No issue with that, it's just he has never really run out of options or had to cobble things together for himself, that's just the feeling I get about him. No Trans Alp for me I genuinely like my Hornet, if I was going to do the ADV thing I would prolly go for an Africa Twin but I just don't want something that big if I am honest.2 points

I watched the Morocco trip to see if I recognized places, and I did a few. He did a big drama about looking at the Sahara and basically didn´t approach any interesting places, rode on main roads most of the time. On that video he was quite relieved that the fail was the plug coming off as that's easily fixed as he had done before On that Morocco trip he was alone, and did a lot of the stopping to ride back and film himself stuff, I envy his dedication as doing that in warm weather must be hell. Then curiosity got the better of me and watched a few other videos, to then see always a big drama about the next big trip and events with a failing bike due to his own poor maintenance. I dislike the guy, he poses and models too much in his videos and makes his motorcycling bigger than it is, but in his defense it's pretty easy for me to dislike someone2 points

Yes I have been following Freddie's Bonnie saga. The guy who has it now seems to know his stuff. Funnily enough Pete introduced me to Freddie and to begin with I was put off by his accent but have warmed to him now and enjoy what he does. I liked his recent Trans Alp adventures up north.2 points

It was raining today so i decided to check on the new lane we got opened as the locals have been kicking off and there would be nobody about, The TRF were clearing it last Thursday so i thought i'd ride down it and then back up not to rub the locals noses in it at the bottom. Going down was hard going mainly because i didn't have the confidence to just let the bike go over the slippery rocks When i got to the bottom i decided fuck going back up as going down had worn me out and proceeded to the exit but found the locals have got the council to put the barrier back up and it was locked. I had no option but to go back up surprisingly the bike found loads of grip on what was the slippery rocks coming down and it was only my poor fitness that was holding me back. I had to stop here for a rest from there up it started getting hard And stopped here for my second heard attack i think i lost my soul in that washout After i got out i decided to head home i was going to be out for a few more hours but i was fucked, i think i really need to do something about my fitness or lack of it2 points
