  3. Well that was a long trip mostly wasted but salvaged this panorama of Aberystwyth Started out driving up to Llyn Brianne at 3pm (45 miles) in the vain hopes of getting a Sunset there, no luck as it just clouded over, so then drove across to Aberystwyth (32 very dodgy miles and a hill climb in the dark), got bigger panorama than below but cocked up with focus, still managed to salvage this one, wasn't entirely happy so then drove to Ynys (across the estuary from Port Meirion 58 miles), but couldn't get the angle I wanted as it was too late to be driving down private roads and there was no damned snow on the mountains behind "The Village", b*ll*cks, not having much luck so headed on to Caernarfon Castle (24 miles) to get a classic reflection shot, but oh dear, the lights weren't on and the tide was out pffft, bloody tired now as it's early hours, thought I'd head back via Machynlleth and stop, wait for morning to see if any fighter jets were low flying, fell asleep in a layby, woke up at about 4am and decided to head for home (138 miles) arrived at 08:10am. 273 miles of dodgy, slow Welsh mountain roads in the pouring rain So remember when you see a great picture online from a photographer, give it a like as it's extremely unlikely they they simply happened to be in the right place at the right time, I guarantee they've done all this crap too and more, tried dozens of times before getting that one shot, the one below isn't a great shot, just what I could salvage from one of many failed trips.

  4. I really feel for all of you in England at the moment with al that cold wet freezing weather, here in Spain we have had some gorgeous weather lately I personally feel that temperatures in the low 20s are the perfect riding conditions LOL. So last Tuesday evening I got a message asking if I fancied a little ride the next day. I said yes of course. The following morning I set off for Castalla met up with a few friends and off we went around the mountains of Alicante and into the Valencia region. We stopped off for a coffee on the way and eventually we found ourselves not too far from where I live and we rode through the devastated landscape of what is left after the massive wild fire from last year. The fire that got so close to my village we were put on standby to evacuate the neighbouring village and already been emptied. I was amazed at how much land had gone up in flames we rode for miles and it was burnt trees all t he way. We eventually stopped for a lunch just outside Pego and headed for the coast and some sunny twisties.

  8. Rain storms blowing over so won´t feel inclined to get on the bike. Will probably just go for a rainy stroll with Costa in the morning, then watch it rain outside and a quiet time by myself watching tv. Might have a drink on saturday.

  25. And yet we will still have the loud pipes saves lives crowd defending the noise. In the long run they will be right of course because we will see motorcycles banned everywhere, nobody will be allowed to own one so there will be no more motorcycle related deaths. What a result for the loud pipes saves lives crowd that will be, they can sit at home content that they were right all along.

  26. Was talking to someone who lived a couple of doors down but now lives a couple of miles away to a smaller house. We knew everyone and talked to all on our road. She was saying people have changed but I think it's a lot to do with our kids, who all played together have now moved on/out. I also agree with six, they're all self serving cunts and have no interest in anything other than their own personal gain. Sack the lot and get a few business men/women in.

  27. Thinking about it Its hard to say really there's so many little things that's changed over the years you don't notice them as it's just part of life, obviously there have been some big changes as there have been for people all over the world. Where i live was considered to be a real rough area, back in the 70's and 80's it was on par with the likes of the Gurnos or Lansbury park but we never seen any real trouble here like that and it certainly doesn't have that reputation any more. The south wales valleys and surrounding areas have had a hell of a lot of redevelopment making it a more pleasant place to live although traffic around here is crazy at rush hour times that is something i have noticed get worse over the years, if you drove up through the valleys now you would find it hard to spot any evidence of the coal industry, gone are almost all of the slag heaps and pit's but the slags still roam the streets lol. One of the biggest differences i can see from my younger life to now is the pub culture has gone, i used to enjoy a few pints in the local pub talking face to face with people it was something i thought i would still be doing now, since that has gone i don't really know any of my neighbours their all strangers but saying that i like it that way now, There also seems to be a lot more money about or it might be debt because it's probably all on tick. I think i have changed more than anything as in what i used to enjoy in life seems like a bit of a chore now and i have mellowed with age, i used to be a very angry young man but now i tend to let things wash over me and i find life in general is easier and less stressful, probably because i don't care about things that wind a lot of people up such as politics.

  29. Good thing he didn´t buy that bike. He would be starting a thread to ask whether he should just return the new motorcycle to the main dealer because he had lost all faith in it.

  40. Mate, I live in a town where a good 60% are posh blow ins. Weird/entitled/lazy/obnoxious/greedy/grasping/cunts on a good day. Know the price of everything and the value of nothing. I told one last night not to be so fucking stupid at my singing group, and I am pretty laid back and inofensive most of the time, just to give you a scale of the stupidity. To be fair there are a couple of posh blow ins in our Chilblain riding group and they are alright if annoyingly rich
