Sorry all, i have been away again...no not inside. Pat my long time lover has MND and i have to look after her 24/7 these days so not a lot of time to myself. So i tend to pop in and read a bit. Glad you lot are all still with us. It's shit getting old. Still have a bike or three but not a lot of time to ride.. I will get out this year thou. On Saturday Paolo and I walked another section of the old Midland Railway line . lovely weather for February and we even stopped for a sausage bap and a coffee in the old Warmley station

You are correct sir.....I flipped the twist shifter over to the left side, so it shifts backwards, but wasn't hard to get used to. I also added a hydraulic front brake caliper...Best upgrade I've ever done....It'll put you on your head! Also added a MegaRange sprocket gear set to the rear along w/ oversized Michelin tires. Just got an email today informing me of my new eBike that has been shipped....me anxiously waiting.

I hate steel sheds The assembly instruction that came with the shed made Ikeas assembly instructions seem like plain English.

A photo of my Honda XLR 650 L from several years ago on a trip over to the old East Germany, down through the Czech Republic and back home via Italy, Switzerland and France. One of my favourite all-time bikes.

Made me laugh. Especially the bit where one of them fell off and his mate started laughing at him and he then fell off!

Working all bloody day again today! Couldn't have gone out anyway......it's been pissing down and bloody freezing!

It is the son in laws shed, he wanted it for his push bike, lawnmower and other gardening tools. Not the best shed, many of the pre drilled holes did not line up. it is just for storage, It does need a light in though. Insulate it I doubt he will bother.

Never rode one but one of our parts suppliers had a mint red one. I thought it was a good looking bike but even he said it wasn't the best bike he'd had by far.

No I have looked around and to be honest I don't see anything I like, I don't want too many electronic gadgets. as an ex electronic engineer I cant think of a worse place to put electronics than on a bike LOL and at the monet all the manufacturers seem obsessed with making bikes lower shorter and more compact while I'm getting bigger LOL so think I will stick with the Yam for now

It may well suffer from that, being as its stood on paving slabs, my shed is on blocks off the ground and has a wooden floor, so it does not get too damp on there, I did price it up to insulate and board my shed, but never got round to doing it...

Yes, I laughed out loud when he said that! The cam timing was out from when the bike had a top-end rebuild by a bike shop! I think that someone mentions which bike shop in the comments.

I had a mate that had a CX500C the custom looking one, I always thought that looked a hansom bike. Never rode one but I liked the look of the custom and the later Eurosport styles one.

sugar and milk;; Well i have had the Big C twice more but still here to make life a total misery for those who know me::: The list of bikes has gone down to: Honda::: C70, Innova 125cc and a Honda Forza 300 scooter:: still can not get out and about with these bloody Welsh lock downs, I can't move out of Flintshire and you could bloody walk boarder to boarder in an hour.... Awaiting new bike in 2021 when Honda pull the middle digit out.
