Just been out and had a 100 mile bimble, been up to Damerells for a bacon roll and to look at the bikes then over to the North Coast and up to North Cornwall Motorcycles at Bude. Them home. Great to be out on the Hornet I think I have found the perfect bike for me, light and easy to maneuver around but enough power to not get bored. I am surprised how quiet it is around 70 to 80 mph as a naked bike, push past 90 mph and you know all about it but that's not where I want ride. No real buffeting and still quiet enough to hear my sounds in the helmet, and no vibs at all. Yes I can feel the wind on my chest but no turbulence. Obviously having a decent helmet helps as well. Must be something to do with the bodywork on it as I have been on other nakeds and it's like the end of the world at those sorts of speeds. I laughed at my mate on his Bonnie as we had to slow down as he was losing his vision through vibration at 70 plus. Lovely looking old bike but no competition to something more modern no matter what he argues.3 points

A nice morning, again so I think the order of the day is wash the car, it has a good growth of moss on the window rubbers... much rather do that than gardening. Lol3 points

… don’t let the old man in. Arab saying about getting older which I try to remember as bits of me start hurting and aching, and threatening to stop me doing the things I want to.3 points

One thing about the cars here compared to Britain is there's never any rust on them. There's 70's Fiestas and Renault 4's still going!2 points

All the insurance companies that come to mind are on GoCompare...............not trying Direct Line, I found their prices ridiculous when I asked for a quote in the past..2 points

Bumped into my old neighbour in the local pet shop……….he couldn’t look at me and walked past with his eyes down. Stood right behind him in the queue to pay. It was hilarious because he fucking hated it. It was possibly the highlight of my day.2 points

It's not too bad here...... .....but I've got a busy couple of days with a server migration again. Hopefully I'll get out on Sunday though.....I bloody need it. I don't suppose anybody's doing anything of interest though? I know it's unlikely to be riding your bike.......but any old shit you can add to keep the board moving is OK. Yes......we're that desperate!1 point
