Hopefully she will, she has road sense and has been riding horses on the road for 2 years. I am basking in the glow of best Dad Ever! but that won't last long, I am sure I will be that grumpy twat again soon enough5 points

She is over the moon with it as it is exactly what she wanted down to the colour. I was really lucky to find it only 6 miles down the road. She wanted a Red CBF125 which is what we looked at up at Damerells on Wednesday just gone. Anyway we talked and I was going to sort a new one for her closer to her birthday. In the mean time this 23 plate one popped up on ebay , 7 months old for £1850 as opposed to £3149 new. It was a repo that was cat N written off for cosmetic damage at 4 months old. It has several scuff and dings but nothing that can't be touched up and a few bits here and there and it will look good. In fact it's not that bad now even though every panel is marked. But with a 17 year old owner it will get scrapes at some point. Only covered 2100 miles. I am going to contact Damerells as it may still be under warranty but no big deal if it's not. It rode great home even with my fat arse on it.5 points

Once that auto brake is sorted you'll change your mind. I was the same but now I'm used to it and like it. Shit for handbrake turns in the snow though as it won't operate at speed.5 points

I have to agree, yes it's a cleaner interior with just having a switch but it's like they tried to reinvent the wheel and in fact they have gone backwards with it5 points

Jake with one of his "older" girlfriends! I gotta laugh at him just pulling her in by the neck and then posing for the camera! Spoke to my boy Steve today and Fatty is at her wit's end with him....apparently he makes her life a misery now! He's far too intelligent for both his parents and knows all the buttons to press to wind them up! It seems that manic Jones gene skipped a generation with Steve (it skipped my father as well, but his father had it) and now she's getting payback! To the point that she even seems willing to let Steve bring him here for a weekend! He's a Player for sure!4 points

I had the disks and pads replaced on all 4 wheels of a VW Toureg on Friday. It was painfully expensive. I’ve had it for the last 52k and this is the first set of pads I’ve put on it…I don’t use the brakes much4 points

No not really...just parts are so expensive...maybe things are different where you live..it easily double what a normal car would be.4 points

I hope to get to Wellesbourne airfield for one of the days when the Vulcan is doing a high speed taxi run, noise won't be a problem though, but a spectacular sight anyway.3 points

I don't know why you guys are so hooked up on German cars...for me has someone that works on cars for a living ..I always found that they over complicate a desigh..like suspension for and example...I would never owne one...just a nightmare trying to find parts for..around here anyways..maybe things are different across the pond.3 points

So he reckoned, im dubious about that though, I don't see why a company he would have it in the lineup of sale cars if it was his unless he was trying to flog an issue vehicle3 points

I wouldn't trust a word coming from there mouth...the thing could have gone in a scrap and who ever owned it might have got it repaired by sub- pare bodyshop...without getting insurance involved...who know...over the years I could have gone into selling used car but never did ..and will never...I'm to honest and would have probably cost me more money and restless nights ...knowing selling something that wasn't up to pare...you basically have to be a crookit in someway to sell used cars...I my opinion....3 points
