6 of us from Fowey went up to Devon today to see the National Hillclimb Association first event of the year. We stopped for breakfast near Poundstock. They thought us old fuckers must be dodgy as we had to pay before they would serve us any food. I personally was flattered that they thought I could do a runner. . It was very nice though and they warmed up after awhile When they realised we were behaving. Trip Stats It was an interesting meet with several interesting bike’s although most seemed to be modified crossers. There was one combination so I guess that won its class. Hartland Point was vey pretty with Lundy Island out on the horizon. Some pretty big balls in terms of pace. Mental buggers. Some interesting stuff in the car park, well to me anyway. Also our little band, my other mate wouldn’t take his Ventura into the field Don’t Blaine him it probably weighed over 300kegs We stopped in Bude for a cuppa on the way home. Had a chance to look at my mates V4 Ventura on the way home. Detuned V-Max motor. Very big bike but beautifully put together. Bloody good day out with the old codgers.7 points

I think there might be something in section two , paragraph four that it has to be a real bike and not a figment of your imagination .3 points

Although it doesn't say that the photo has to be taken by yourself I'm happy to withdrawal it if @Six30 is desperate to win . Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, have you ridden your bike this month @Six303 points

I guess that it must have a T160 Trident motor in it, with the cylinders tilted forwards slightly, same as the BSA Rocket 3 motor. Nice!3 points

Laax in Switzerland, last minute thing and was a case of wherever we could find a few days accommodation. Snow is so so, horrible at low levels, ok at the top. Staggeringly bloody expensive but you can’t take it with you…3 points

Woke up late, gave the new E30 a quick wash to get ride of the desert dust that fell down over the last two days, and drove over for a coffee at the local dainese shop. Biker shit show today, someone dropped a chinese bike on top of some kind of single cylinder suzuki cruiser, while a twat on a yamaha fz6 with very loud pipes warmed up his bike for 5 minutes before shutting it off to go to the bathroom before leaving, then exited the place on the wrong way because he couldn’t make the tight turn to go the proper way, and proceeded to hold on to second gear until he could no longer be heard. At least it’s free entertainment List of small things to fix or address on the car is increasing, but it’s a sweet ride.2 points
