Took a spin this morning to the Grand Ronde river while I was waiting for my front lawn to dry out from last night's dew...before I mowed it....which tore up my screwed up feet. Stopped along the way for a few qwik pics....1st @ the train station....then onto a nice wide spot directly east from place. Arrived @ the RV park to find the river looking pretty damn full....typical spring run-off. Just a couple more to make the Spanner-Phobic cringe @ the thought of that much wetness so close to his bike...

Reminds me of the time I got a puncture as I rode into Los Angeles after 2400 miles in three days. Nursed it down to the dealers and at first they wanted to book it in, I pointed out I had ridden in from Georgia and would only be there for a couple of days, they promptly dropped everything and did it immediately. There was a guy from Canada waiting who had trailered his bike down who started complaining. The workshop guy told him to shut the fuck up and said real riders got priority.

Yeah, they identified him as a ginger ponce with a penchant for midgets? He had to leave quick.

Battery is here and on charge. Weighs about a quarter of the one I have taken out. The old one is looking a bit bulgy on the sides.

This is the box the pilot jet for the XR turned up in yesterday i don't mind but it arrived Thursday but nobody was in to take the delivery so was redelivered yesterday if it was in a padded envelope it would have gone through the letter box. The box was a perfect size for the 24mx stickers that came with it though

I headed up Betws then past Ammanford towards Carreg Cennen Castle, couldn't get where I wanted to for the castle so set up by that old fallen tree Bob

It's used as just a tour train now....w/ limited trips up to the Minam river area about 15 miles away.

Been to the hardware shop to get some metal fencing for the top of the Pagoda......protection for the tortoises against vultures. Then when of those surreal moments happened when their radio switched from endless wailing Spanish music to Black Sabbath "Paranoid".

My bike is a 2008 and this will be its third battery so it is averaging 1 battery every 8 years, now remind me how long that battery has been in the Affy?

That’s the new battery on, it has some serious cranking power. I have the NOCO charger on my old battery now to see it it can recover it, although I doubt it.
