I was up early this morning and away by 7am . Took my usual route south until I got to the first lane near Gare Hill .............. It's that time of the year where a lot of the lanes are overgrown but I battled through it. Next I climbed up White Sheet Hill and stopped at the top to have a quick look at the round barrow .......... and then it was straight across the B3095 and across Mere Down ............... I dropped down through East Knoyle and came across an old windmill on the escarpment..................... The view from the windmill down over the hill.................... More overgrown stuff was taken on , I hate it when the ruts are hidden in the long grass After riding all along the ridge of the second part of White Sheet Hill I went up the lovely climb near the Fovant badges - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fovant_Badges and then rode on past the Salisbury racecourse ................... I rode around the back of Salisbury and up the Woodford Valley to get to the byway that leads to Stonehenge ............ Zoom in to see Stonehenge in the background................. I was planning on cutting across the Plain now but there was a big Army exercise going on so all routes were closed ................ So I changed my route and rode up the holloway at Potterne and then around the back of Devizes to head for home.......... It was a good day out all in all but I managed to snap the plunger that releases the lock on my prosthetic leg so I will have to get that sorted now. Also I've come to the conclusion that I need to let the DR650 go as it's just to tall for me now, it'll be a sad day when it goes but the WR250 is so much more manageable.5 points

Dunno we never found out, when it didn't happen after 10 years of trying we decided to go the adoption route rather than IVF. I do have a 36 year old son from a previous relationship, but who knows blanks or no not really important to me.3 points

Yer absolutely. It's definitely not that a bunch of bitter pack animals chased off a decent person. Oh NO He definitely displayed some form of deviance or weakness at some point so it's their fault.... Pete in his own way embraced difference. He may not of absolutely carried it out cleanly but he was clear about equality.3 points

All this boasting, you are definitely compensating for some severe inadequacy . Oh yeah and you are 7 foot tall with biceps like fat girls legs. Definitely something wrong with just being you, that you are trying to make up for.2 points

It is a low torque one, starts at 3nm, it takes 9x12 inserts, I bought it for fasteners with bad clearance, I have another torque handle by Norbar, a big Halfords wrench that works in both directions, three Clarke wrenches plus a digital adapter with an angle meter.2 points

I genuinely and sincerely would like to thank Gareth Southgate for his efforts as England manager, and also the players... my nan has been bed bound since 1987, approaching half time she just got up and turned the tv off.1 point

Forgive me, I don't get out much. Just heard the news, floored me. I've been around Pete's forums for many years, Max Bikes was my go to for some banter and pisstaking. Exchanged messages with Pete many times over the years, he was a truly unique and likeable guy, totally at ease with his Spanish lifestyle and dedicated to his family and his family of bikers. I fucked up a few times, indeed he banned me once, after an exchange of words, but after some grovelling apologies from me, he let me back. Many evenings I enjoyed the banter and pisstaking, brightened up my evenings many times, I'm smiling now remembering some. RIP Pete, one of life's good guys. I'll miss you mate.1 point

They were indeed. He private messaged me on XRV. I'd got hold of a pinched and recovered transalp and hadn't been on there long but he asked me to have a look on his forum. Prob just to off load said tyres. Think it was DSUK and soon changed to Maxbikes. I'd got a few PMs off him over that time but never phoned me, didn't have my No anyway. Think he'd sussed I was a boring basted.1 point
