I dunno - it's not even my dog! He belongs to the neighbor at my shop and wanders in when the door is open to make himself at home. Fucker acts like he owns the place.5 points

Eventually convinced myself to go out on the bike this afternoon i don't know whats wrong with me, the wife's is away and i'm home alone took me until 14:00 before i got out. I wanted to take some photos of some of the local lanes to me to add to the TRF's green road map (GRM). Had my usual spin over Eglwysilan to warm up and stopped to chat to a local lad for a while, think i might have talked him into joining the TRF, after numerous messages from his missus he headed home glad i don't have that problem. I head from Eggy down to do the lanes around Pentyrch i like these as there's no gates to open and close Love the lanes when the trees close them in from Pentyrch i took the back roads to Peterston-super-Ely and then picked up a nice unpaved road over to St Nicholas and hopped on the A48 to St Hillary to the first lane i wanted to take photo's of for the GRM. This used to be a sump smasher coming down it as it had deep washouts on it now its a nice easy lane but a little overgrown I went down it and then back up, the photos are from the bottom up. The top of the lane starts off on some overgrown tarmac, when i entered the lane at the top i went around a right hand bend and the middle of it was covered in a ridge of mud hidden under the weeds which had me off in the bloody stingy's from here i went up over Cowbridge common to a short lane near Prisk the other lane i wanted photos of, it's always overgrown in the summer but I've not seen it this bad before The entrance is there honest I tried to battle my way through it But the mighty XR was defeated i was going up hill and the summer tyre offered no grip at all on the surprisingly soft ground at this point probably only 100 yards in i turned around. The lane is wide enough for a 4x4 so easy enough to turn around on This is the exit from the lane at the top a rather posh house next to it A gentle ride home form here picking up a few unpaved roads on the way i was out about 4 hours and covered just over 50 miles in excellent weather as usual wish i'd got off my arse and gone out earlier though.3 points

Once I got Bulford I set off across the Plain again to get to Tuckers Grave where some of my mates were camping for the weekend ............. Once they'd set up there tents we sampled some of the local cider ........... and then I rode home at dusk down a couple more local lanes ........... It was a long day , I was out for 13 hours but the bike was an absolute joy to ride . A great day out1 point
