Pit stop

Today i will mostly be hiding from the heat, the past week has been stupid hot and yesterday was 38°c by 10:30 and didn't drop below 25 overnight. I cant even ride to work cos just the thought of having to put a helmet, jacket and gloves on is enough to bring on a sweat. Storms forcast tonight and tomorrow so at least it might get cool enough to sleep…

Nice here today, 21c and a nice breeze blowing. I have put the scoot back together, tyres inflated, battery charged, all ready for the MOT tomorrow.

Too hot, can't be arsed.

Good evening everyone! Last Saturday I went for 2 days to Halkidiki, in Ouranoupolis in Greece specifically ,with the Tenere 700 is meant, and I stayed in a hotel that had the best pool I've ever been to. 4 pools basically. Everything was very old in general in the hotel, but the pool he had was something else. In other words, we are talking about a pure moto adventure excursion !!!!! Woke up to Thunder & Lightning this morning....the rain that ensued is quite refreshing though. Gonna be 1 of those days to get "inside" stuff done.

Pulling tiles off the wall in the bathroom as she wants a shower unit instead of the bath/shower we have. Had all the doors and windows open and the breeze coming from downstairs was nice and cool with a bonus of the dust going straight out the windows. Why do some tiles almost fall off and others are bloody welded on. 2 walls to go yet.

I have - it's not too bad but like most of the northeast; it's not worth the effort to get there. Amazing amounts of traffic on this trip - the northeast is just over run with cars going 10 mph under the limit and shitty driving in general. I'll get back to posting pics later today............

We bolted outta Lake Saranac the next day, headed across Vermont and New Hampshire towards Salem, NH. Quaint old fuel stations and restaurants are all over the place....

Our hotel was in an old art deco building and looked cool from the outside....

The town of Lake Saranac was kinda cool - although mostly empty buildings and not a lot going on...
