Taking Shadow up to Damerells to do her CBT today. Shed is just a tad nervous this morning. I am sure she will be fine but will be glad to get her there.

Just seen my old Himalayan in the showroom up at Damerells. Done 7k now as opposed to 3k when I traded it in. Still spotless so has been looked after. Lovely 66 plate VFR, that is seriously tempting, well to me anyway. Big old beast but DCT, shame. I have just had a ride into town, i only went to the bank, its quite a walk from where I parked the scoot (only 1 car park allows bikes/scoots to park) and felt very over dressed 6 miles round trip, iam knackered now

Here you can ride a restricted A2 at 18, and then at 20 it automatically goes to A1. I never noticed that my driver's license only stated the A2, so until 2 years ago when I last went to Morocco I rode with a license that stated I wasn't able to ride unlimited bikes Obviously in Portugal cops know that the license renovates to unlimited, but obviously all the police that checked it in Morocco over the years don't have to know that, they obviously didn't pay too much attention

i definitely think its car drivers who should go through more rigorous training not just bikes and hgv's

She is fine, just dropped her off and the first question she asked was how many were on the course, so she knew how many she had to beat . I did say it’s not a competition but that is not her life outlook, has to be the best. Gotta go back at 4:30 to pick her up.

More than that... 14 year olds can have a special license to ride 50cc motorcycles with a 45kph speed limit. At 16 with a written consent from their parents they can get the A1 license restricted to 11kw (15hp) and power/weight ratio of 0,1 kw/kg. At 18 they can get the A2 license restricted to 35kw (47hp) and power/weight ratio of 0,2 kw/kg. At 20 if they have the A2 for at least 2 years the can upgrade to A (unrestricted) but they have to do an exam. And if they never had any bike license before they can only get the A license at 24 years of age.
