Chaos here this morning in chez oneleg. The ceiling is coming down in the kitchen and living room as there is asbestos in the artex and the extension build can't start until it's removed. We are confined to upstairs which is interesting when doing a simple task like making a cup of tea as we can't find anything. I think dinner may be coming from the chip shop this evening6 points

$1,700.00 For one day bike rental and 2 nights lodging? If anyone wants to do this, I'll guide ya free of charge. Bike rental would be around $125 for one day.3 points

Yep that seems the easiest option, going to have more time on Thursday plus an extra pair of hands/eyes so I’ll let you know how we get on.2 points

Almost certainly mate, well that’s the only thing I can think of. It’s not like it’s a moving part that has snapped, I would have expected the hoses to split over time but not what’s happened. I’ve got a mate popping around tomorrow to have a look and see if he can come up with a fix. He’s pretty inventive so fingers crossed.2 points

Much, much better than going to a league/premiership game. You could have a drink on the terraces , walk all around the ground, fans mingling together and having a bit of banter and none of the toxic atmosphere you get at the bigger clubs PS. £12.00 to get in as well (senior price)2 points

The Lie said to the Truth, "Let's take a bath together, the well water is very nice." The Truth, still suspicious, tested the water and found out it was nice. So they undressed and took their bath. But suddenly, the Lie leaped out of the water and fled, wearing the clothes of the Truth. The Truth, furious, climbed out of the well to get her clothes back. But the world, upon seeing the naked Truth, looked away with anger and contempt. Poor Truth returned to the well and disappeared forever, hiding her shame. Since then, the Lie runs around the world dressed as the Truth, and the society is very happy.. because the world has no desire to know the naked Truth.1 point

And Dan's brother bike had this ridiculous low windshield on his roadglide...could barely do 120kph...the wind blast was just to much...not at all suitable for a ride like this...highway speed limit is 110 kph..so everyone is driving 130 ish...grandma Jones was even passing us with her prius...1 point

Would you stop..lol...not going to win any awards for this...all in all think we covered just over or close to 4 thousand km...I won't be going there again for sure...even thoe we were just 3 rider...I'd rather travel alone...I was riding tail end...Dan really has a nasty habit operating his GPS....he would let go of the throttle when messing with it...I had to tell him to put his cruse on wyll he was playing with it...he would reduce speed without his brake lights coming on ...on a multi lane highway In Toronto ...it's not advisebale to do so...extremely dangerous for the fellow in the rear...1 point

My day today went a lot better than yesterday! Went to the hospital with the missus to have a consultation with the arrhythmia specialist. Proper swanky hospital, first class service and definitely worth the monthly fee. The cardiologist has said she needs a small operation to stop excess electrical signals being generated and sent to the heart muscles which is what causes the arrhythmia. The way he explained it is that most people have one circuit that sends signals to the heart muscles to beat according to whatever your doing (resting, exercise etc) but some people (the awkward ones ) have an additional circuit that chips in randomly and causes the heart to go mental……hers hit 212 bpm last time it happened. Anyway, he reckons the operation is pretty straightforward and should be done fairly soon, possibly in the next couple of weeks (can you imagine that on the NHS?) They basically seal the end of the extra circuit to prevent it sending electrical signals. It’s a case of dropping her off one morning and they look after her all day with the op usually in early evening. She can go home the next morning. Thank fuck we can get it sorted because it’s really scared her and me too. However yesterday was a complete twat of a day……… had a lovely ride out in the morning, all went well until I got home………… Pulled up outside the house and noticed coolant pissing out at the bottom of the bike. Traced it to where one of the hoses fits onto the rear of the cylinder head. I’ve noticed that where the hose clamps to the engine there’s no stud and that’s because it’s corroded and snapped off. It’s probably stuck inside the hose but until I can lift the tank and take a better look I won’t know for sure. If that’s the case I’m not sure if it can be welded back on or whether I need a new head cylinder! If that’s the case then I think I’ll have to sell it for spares and repairs because the cylinder heads seem to be quite pricey and you never know what you’re going to get second hand. So now I’ve no working bike and the mountain bike is sitting in the corner of the garage looking smug. Double fucking bollocks.1 point

Well just made back home...excellent ride if you like riding on highways ...for the time we had to get there back it was the only solution...the port Dover rated has the biggest bike rally has for Canada...wasn't expecting to see that amount of people it was literally shoulder to shoulder for about 5 km....the town has a population of around 7 thousand and Friday they were expecting 300 thousand attending the rally...1 point

Got out early on the XR with Gary today out about 7 hours, but we did manage a respectable 164 miles and a lot less talking. Started to drizzle mid day and didn't let up until we were on the last leg home poor Gary didn't take any waterproofs so was soaked though i was pretty cold and wet with them on by the time i got home The red arrows This was slightly washed out Our route1 point
