  2. Played at turd polishing yesterday oh and my hand pump foam bottle shat the bed yesterday. It’s DOA after six uses, not moaning really it was only £6.99 so I suppose I got my monies worth. Just ordered a powered replacement from Amazon so we will see how that goes. Gave it a soaking in ACF to help it survive the winter. Cleaned up pretty well for 17 years old and 34k miles. Adjusted the manual cam chain tensioner, very therapeutic just listening to the chain rattle disappear as you do it. Drive chain adjustment hasn’t moved at in the last 2k miles, so just cleaned and lubed it. Just gotta change the coolant and It’s ready for the cold.

  14. I think she built it just to ride in cold weather, studded tyres and all. Like you I would have gone for wider, trail type bars and some much bigger mud guards but I think style was more her thing whereas we are thinking practically.

  16. Our 80 odd year old neighbour passed away a couple of years ago, we use to see 1 daughter and one son visit her on a irregular basis. But come the days leading up to the funeral people kept turning up, we found out they were the other 6 kids, never ever saw them in our 10 years of living here, they slowly cleared the bungalow of anything of value over the next week. Yep RIP Pete, iam sure his sons will be looking after Mrs. Pete, really hope so, it would be a nightmare for them having Pete haunting them!.

  21. She must have some good gear for keeping warm in those temps. Them handle bars look like a copy of a 1970s monkey bikes, think I'd have something a bit wider.

  23. No, it was a mate of mine down in Somerset who took him out. I've never met him but he asked Chris if he knew a one-legged rider called Bob. He was also asking about the Canadian dude with a boyfriend called Billybob

  24. Weather has been great here lately, really odd that it's this warm at this time. Got out on the scooter and snapped a few pics of the local area. Not really worthy of a Ride Report though so here they are ....
