  3. Spent the day with my eldest daughter today. Took her over Davidstow airfield for a driving lesson. She is doing well, working on her reverse parking, parallel parking and reversing around a corner. We worked on patterns of 30 minute lesson then 15 minutes of playing and doing what she wanted. During her second break I teased her that she’d couldn’t hit shit, she proved me wrong and hit every cow pat on the runway . There were many Here she is proud of her achievements splattered all up the side of the van Some of her victims Good to get her out and laughing again as her horse died last Friday and she has been a bit down.

  7. No, so very tempted to do so but she has to learn for herself, of course I will help if asked. She has done several thousand miles as a pillion this year so hopefully learnt a bit from that

  24. I have now finished 2 major motorcycle journey videos. I really enjoy the travels and those always come first, the filming is secondary as I do not want it to distract from the enjoyment of the jopurney. Here they are: I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed riding them and filming them

  28. Good evening everyone! A quick ride in the mountains of Kavala,in Greece with Tenere 700. Rocky dirt roads with cliffs and steep climbs / descents to the top. A risky route since the rear tire is at its last. In this place that day there was a hunter, a shepherd, me and no one else. Western, but in Greek...! here's the video

  31. A couple of months ago I put new fork seals on the WR but after a couple of rides the O/S fork started leaking again. I got Garry who does my MOT's to have a look and he pointed out vertical scoring on the leg , that wasn't allowing the seal to do it's job. Parts for this bike are fairly rare in UK , I wondered if the forks from a WR250F (enduro) would fit but they need work to do the job and it was more than I wanted to do so I bit the bullet and ordered a new fork tube, along with bushes and a fork seal. So up on the ramp again and the fork was removed.......... Once you get the cap off you need two spanners to remove the leg .................. and then I drained the oil overnight .................. Once the parts arrived (nearly three weeks ) , I took the fork leg into work as we would need to fabricate a tool to remove the damper rod . My boss is a wizz at making suitable tools ............ I cleaned up the damper rod and valve and then fitted those parts to the leg, new on the left , old on the right .......... Back home this morning I set about fitting the new bushes and seal, the Motion Pro seal driver was employed for the job.......... the air gap was measured with my trusty steel rule and then everything was button up ........ and now I have another freebie Japanese mechanic key ring from CMSNL
