No snow here, actually okish when not pissing down, still cold. Anyway my oldest daughter’s best mate is bike mad and always wanting to go pillion. So I took her up to Damerells to look at the bikes then brought here home to spend the evening with my daughter. Nothing much different up at Damerells but it is the kipper time of year for them. They Did have the new RE Guerilla 450 in, looks pretty good to me. Lot of new bike for the money. Not something I want but I can see it would be practical transport.4 points

It's that time of the year again where the trails get covered in leaves and as you ride them you have no idea what's underneath which makes it more exciting As I was excused nursing duties yesterday it was time to get out for a ride so I headed in the general direction of Salisbury Plain but decided that as I was on my own to do some less travelled trails, one's that I wouldn't normally do. As soon as I got onto the Plain my immediate plan was thwarted as the Army were on exercise so Westdown and Larkhill ranges were closed.......... I rode around the perimeter path until I could get back on track but then realised that I had one in the departure lounge so this proved to be very convenient (can you see what I did there ) and then onto some tracks that were either new to me or hadn't done for a long time ................ I then got to this which was only meant to be a small brook , I walked it first and decided that as I was on my own I would retreat and find another way around as it about three feet deep in the middle I was a bit hungry by now so I popped into Tidworth for a bite to eat and some petrol for the bike.2 points

I rode back onto the Plain and I came across one of the Army's play areas, last time I was here was about 15 years ago, they call it the Chalk Pit........... Then I started heading back towards home via some less used tracks .............. and then some more leafy surprise on the last lane of the day ...............2 points

I'd love to see some snow down here, although I changed my car in the summer and the new one will be bloody useless on snow ... so be a good excuse not to go to work1 point

If leafs on the ground making ruts a surprise is nice, I would think you'd love the random mortar shell to spice things up!1 point
