  2. Finished my shed. Just got to anchor it down this afternoon then order some shelves. Pretty pleased with it to be honest. Fiddly bastard to put up but got there in the end. The base is perfectly level, I would imagine there would be no chance of putting it together if the base was uneven. Laughed when it was delivered as the guy that brought it said “Make sure you keep the boxes mate they won’t take it back if you don’t”. Got the feeling that many have been sent back in frustration Took me 8 hours to put it up. Much quicker and cheaper than building my own. Would have preferred to do that really but just don’t have the time or energy if I am honest.

  3. I brought one of these home last week, just in time for ski season to start here in Michigan. It'll be about five months before I can ride it, so for now it's sitting in my basement shop looking for ways to spend my money. With 0.5 miles on the trip odometer (total miles still says 0) it's got a Quickshifter, upgraded front brake pads, Upmap unit & reflash, Swingarm spools, USB port, tail tidy, and various warning stickers removed. Oh sure, you shake your head at that one, but I've removed five so far and have four more to go. Not to mention various barcode labels and an incredible amount of yellow marks that indicate somebody gave that item attention at some point. It will have better tires put on it as soon as the seasonal sales start. Or maybe sooner if I get impatient. I even got to break out the 3d printer. In prep for trackdays I've printed a couple plates to capture the nuts on the mirrors so they can be removed without disturbing the fairing. I am also anxiously awaiting the release of an add-on wiring harness to move the front turn signals onto the headlight, like in other parts of the world. Because if I don't do that, I'll still have to remove that pesky panel to get access to the mounting bolts. Come on Aprilia, figure it out. You don't have to make attaching/removing things so piddly. I had an RS-R a few years back they used something like 37 long screws just to hold the airbox lid on. Annoying. It may also get an exhaust, another reflash, rear shock, and fork inserts too, but I think those will wait until I've actually ridden. Maybe not. In stock USA trim there are five warning labels visible from this angle alone. F'ing lawyers...

  9. Well I have had an interesting day, The instructions said it would take two people 6 hours to put up. I managed to get 90% of it up in 6 hours on my own until darkness stopped play. My boy did help me for the last hour. Just got some finishing off to do tomorrow. Knackered now

  13. Mine took 2 days to assemble, mostly by trial and error.

  14. None of the parts were labeled on mine either so that made things interesting. To be fair Lifetime have a load of 'how to' videos on Youtube which I would have struggled without. Oh and the screws and bolts were on a blister pack so that helped a lot to.

  15. My Yardmaster shed was a bastid to assemble, each panel and strengthening supports were individually numbered........ with stupid long numbers.....the panels were all numbered with a A , but the numbers did not follow, Panel A216 connects to Panel A 412 (for example. Panel 1 to 2 to 3 would have made it simpler.

  16. It's the same brand Costco sell in the states, loads of good reviews about them so should be okay. I just want somewhere clean and dry out of the house to store my bike gear, luggage and tools. I have the idea that I can walk out the back door gear up in the shed then head out. To be fair my gear is taking over the dining room so I understand why I am getting grief from the wife over it.

  20. To me, Little Britain is what lingers inside the mind of the typical brit you see casually sipping on a beer at a pub. On the outside it's a random calm person keeping to himself, on the inside it's a serial killer's nightmare!
