Out for a couple of hours this morning, principally a breakfast run. Some lovely scenery, cracking roads and hardly any traffic. What’s not to like eh? I’m very lucky to be living here.

Wotcha watching? My 12 week old puppy chewing up a couple of pieces from a puzzle my wife and mother in law have been doing for the last couple of hours. I might give them another hour before I tell them they are going to be 2 pieces short ….

been up the district club to watch a few bands good night and a lot of people there for a change which was good to see although there were a lot of coffin dodgers me and the wife were some of the youngest there which is a shame

Mandis work mate all bundled into the local spoons last night. She phoned me and ordered me out of the shower to come down. Busy as heck, couldn't speak to each other due to the noise. Had 1 drink and we left. Got pissed at home in front of the tele. Today we'll be shopping for a few bits to keep the bunnies fed for the week. The boy's coming round for those duties as we'll be off to Derbyshire Monday.

A customer of the local bike place near me has a V Max which I love the look of. Never ridden one but it does look lovely. Keep meaning to test ride a Scout but my back is knackered and I am convinced I’d be crippled for a week after every ride if I got one. I’m supposed to be having a bit of bone removed from my spine in Jan which I hope will improve matters so maybe 2025 will be the year …

When Pete passed on it was a very uncertain time for this forum and if I'm perfectly honest I thought it would just end. I know we've had a few flouncers and we could definitely do with some more female members and some aren't posting all that much but generally I think it's going ok. So I'd like to thank Ian for keeping the forum going and in the same spirit as Pete ran it. It's not a bed of roses keeping this forum going so although he can come across as a bit of a c*nt to some newer peeps I think he deserves some big praise .
