It’s snowing! It’s really chucking it down! Prob a couple of inches so far, tho it feels quite wet so might turn to rain at some point. New doggie thinks it’s great, can’t bloody get him inside, racing around in it like he’s had a triple espresso and a dose of speed.5 points

Doggie walking for us in minute , Paolo's excited as we bought him some walking boots rather than trudging around in wellies. Dry January is still on so no beer for me tonight , it will have to be orange juice .3 points

Yep will do if it is ever here long enough. Was going to do it this morning but her latest Bo is playing rugby in St Austell so she is in their doing the WAG thing. It's coming up for an oil change in 400 miles so will prolly do it all at the same time.2 points

I was up at 04:30 had to take the wife and her friend to Cardiff to catch a bus to London for the weekend. Apart from the getting out of bed the drive there and back was a pleasure. 26 minutes each way the same journey Monday morning at rush hour will be an hour each way if you’re lucky2 points

Fortunately, he's a tough kid...built like his Dad. He's got a coupla broken ribs & a fractured collar bone. So grateful he's fixable. Looking forward to seeing him next week.1 point

It's about 108 miles to Richland WA 1 way.... & it's 280+ miles to Portland from my place. The route I'll be taking to John Day is longer as it's through the center of OR...but MUCH more pleasant as it's on a 2-lane vs. that bloody Interstate.1 point

Just in case you are unaware, there is a motorcycle tour organiser called Turtle Moto Tours ( www.turtlemototours.com) run by me, with the help of Pedro, and that route ( or parts of it) is on the list of what we offer. In case you and your mates would like to come on a hassle free trip, that's what we can do!!1 point

Gotta drive to Richland WA on Monday... to order a new threaded collar for my arm....hook is loose as a goose & about to fall out. Then I'll probably be traveling to Portland area on Tuesday to visit w/ some old friends, see my grandson who was just in a head-on collision on New Years day....& then help another old friend finally move outta Portland to John Day OR...so I'll be racking up around 1k miles by next Friday. Spending today putting away Christmas decorations & getting another Ride in...1 point

No, I had the Transalp back then, I bought it a month or two before DSUK started. I only bought the 1150 in early 2014, and traded it for the 1200 in January 2016.1 point

Got the fucking lurgy again, another chest infection and course of antibiotics . Feeling crap and I get the call from Shadow to come and rescue her. She had minor spill last week dropping her bike off the stand. Nothing really but snapped the front brake lever so ordered a new one from EBay and put it on yesterday. No problem yesterday but today the front brake dragged got hot and started to smoke and lock. Anyway got the call to go and get her. Took the original lever which is serviceable but no ball on the end. Swapped it out and all was good. Brakes had cooled off by the time I got there. Anyway when she got home we cleaned the bike and I stripped and cleaned the front brakes. Now going to order a genuine Honda front brake lever. I’m so tempted to adjust the pattern one with a file, it really can’t be off that much, couple of mill here or there but it’s not worth the risk with her. If it were me I would.1 point
