Went on Gocompare and got car insurance at nearly half the price that Hastings quoted me, and the insurance is with the A.A, I always thought they were expensive, seems not.

Rode an NC750X for 400 or 500 km the other day. Nice and capable bike, I like the integrated trunk Looked at Harleys today And also rode @Sofia’s speed triple for a little bit today. It’s way better than the NC so she wanted to change back Random Tenere picture, proper Tenere too And drove @Sofia‘s Barchetta for 300km today, too

Hope so. It;s gonna cost a fair amount to do this trip, hope it's worth the effort and cost. So far, just myself and riding mate Odd Todd are going. But if anyone else wants to tag along, they are most welcomed to do so.

I end up changing insurer every year as the one you are with always goes up. It’s ridiculous, they seem to have no interest at all in retaining the customers they already have.

After getting another foot of snow last night...Got blessed with some warmer temps today....water's flowing again in the house. Twas nice to get a hot shower after 3 days too....feeling human again. Ordered some new headlights & reg. tags for the truck as well. Shots with the Mrs. on schedule for tonight.

Out on the piss with an old friend from back in the day, it could get messy.

Fitted a lambda probe to a focus today as the heater circuit had gone. Now getting codes saying that new sensor is reading slow. F7 engine in and running, very rough though. There's no clamp on the carb as it's a push fit arrangement but the rubber stub has gone hard over its sitting years causing a sloppy fit. It's also spitting back through the carb making me doubt the disc valve timing. It was far from good condition when I put the engine back together and I refitted the same as it came apart so not sure it was in the right place. The exhaust seems pretty clogged too so we'll try cleaning that out first. I bet the caustic soda available today isn't as good as the flesh eating shit of yesterday.

just broke down ... dead battery .... fella stopped and i asked if he had any jump leads.... he gave me a load of phone numbers in Cardiff .

Good eye Fred....I thought that when 1st saw it as well, but I think it's just the angle of the dangle...as we say in the drafting world.

Well i left the battery disconnected for a week the voltage was 13.23v at the start of the week and it was 13.23 at the end so reconnected the battery and after 2 weeks the voltage is 13.20v so not sure what is going on with it.
