When i were a lad: i was in the Army,,wink wink! my job was to hurt people who got in the way: He discovered this on Sunday when he raised a fist to me. Let me just say, he will not do it again. I have never ever used the skills that the Army gave me all those years ago, but Sunday was the first time i have felt threatened..we were in a small kitchen space and he is a big lad and strong, so i had to get in and show him he can not intimidate little old 76years old me:::He is a Tw-t to even think it. He has been OK all week now I wander why: I did once tell him never to get on the wrong side of a 5 foot 8" Welshman...as we can come leaping and bounding down the mountain nashing and grinding our teeth and we hit bigger than our size: Bit like the Black watch but without the Kilts: As i said, it was 6 weeks from the last outburst and again after a visit to a motor parts shop he goes to at 6 weekly intervals...then this happens..i think it may be white powder related as i said.. Think i need to find a cheap camper van...3 points

I have been arsing around with my tyre pressures now I have my shocks dialed in so I took a run out to do some testing. The book pressures are 36 front and rear but I have always ran 37 front and 38 rear. So today I set them at 35 front and 36.5 rear. Took a run through the villages out east and headed up into the hills to Long Yester. Unfortunately the higher I climbed the windier it got. So I was forced eventually to head back towards Edinburgh. Tyre pressures worked well though. Bike as always ran perfectly. I also found some friends for Fred.2 points

Had a play around with the pump today. Works really well, I set one of the memories for 36 psi and used it on the bike. It stopped at 36.5 and when I checked with my manual very accurate dial gauge it showed 37psi so I am happy with that. I guess it allows 0.5 psi for when you remove the valve but it doesn't seem to lose anything when you unscrew it. A lot easier than messing around with a foot pump.2 points

Like an old boy I used to work with once told me: "Dynamite comes in small packages"....1 point
