  1. Had a trip out to the local Vintage motorcycle club this morning. And one old chap turned in his recently restored MG only done 140 miles since it was finished. Certainly a beautiful thing I can’t imagine it came out of the factory this good.

  3. They looked better with wire wheels, this was my dads one, his was a 1959 and that one was manufactured in 1951 but re-registered in 1987 for some reason. Just checked my dads old car on DVLA and its still on the road, it says it is red but for some reason i thought it was British racing green

  9. New fork seals needed as they were leaking quite badly….. Progress has been thwarted though by this plastic bush. It’s meant to sit on the end of the damper rod but sometimes they get stuck in the fork tube like this fecker

  17. Trip over to Newquay and Project 83 this evening. Like a warm summers day. with a couple of mates, Andy on his Thruxton and Martyn on his V85TT. Nice to have all modern bikes for a change and not have to wait for the vintage bone shakers. Family parking

  21. That's a 400....had 1 of those too. Although the wheels are sized differently, same 7 spoke design. My last wife rode the one I had, until some drunk jackass almost hit her.... so we then gave it to her Dad. He & I rode to Castle Rock WA back in '94 to watch the 1st Flat Track national in 14 years...since Mt. St. Helens blew. My father-in-law used to flat track a pumped 850 Norton back in the 70's, so he had a blast on that trip...he was like a little kid in a candy store...couldn't sit still to save his life! This shot is from our campsite only a few miles from the race track...

  26. The wheels are identical on certain years. I had a '77 XS 650 but it had wire spoke wheels.... Also had a '82 XS 400R...only Seca that was an XS twin & counter-balanced...Great bike!

  27. My old XS750 great bike until it seized on the middle cylinder, I don't remember any thing until I came round with my hand hanging off and 2 lovely looking girls asking if I was all right. My cat in the photo had the right idea.

Full truckload of Mrs. Hook's stuff...tomorrow we'll unload it all into the garden shed, so she'll have everything here right in our backyard w/ an extra $80 in her pocket every month from now on.
