  1. Ow! and a new rear tyre when we got home,,had one fitted before we went
  2. It tort !!! me a lot about the Burgman 650 that run Phil, chasing you down the motorway.. If i had the Burger in Auto till the ecu cut in, about 110mph.. Then switched to manual it went from gear 6 to 5 then i could open up till cut out. Feather the throttle till it got back to run smoothly, open up again in 6th gear overdrive..the GPS said 138mph it was not nice to ride but WoooHoooo! downside was seeing the fuel guage dropping as you looked at it..I recon it dropped to about 20mpg, but what a great tourer, kept me going on two wheels thanks to you guys. Folks said it was half a Hayabusa engine..and when i later pulled a few to bits to fix for a dealer or two, i found they were correct..same pistons rods and valves..happy days indeed.
  3. Not a bother in the world then, now we just want to stay alive a bit longer
  4. I remember it dropping off after the traffic lights Bob.. The guy in the car on the other side of the road went white..Can't remember the place thou..or the year.. early 2000,s i think..maybe 2006:
  5. Life was for living Phil..had some great times...with all the Sarf Walers and some guys up here to.. Shame i can not get out much now, but i can still show a clean pair of ( rear tyre ) to some of the young-uns around here...I bet we were just life them before we got Eeerrrr! older and wiser
  6. Being an old git, i was thinking it could be my last WaHayyyyy! before i turn my toes up: The Honda DCT has kept me on two wheels But life has got a bit boring ::: Come Back Welsh sport and touring what you say Ren? big problem here in Wales are the 20mph and average speed cameras on most roads....Shit i miss riding in France:

  8. Diti, i never liked night flights always gave me the willies, i could never get on with doing night stuff after being a Lad on night patrol in the Jungle always gave me the collywobbles..even today 59 years later
  9. Only times i went in them it was the Army made me..never again..the lads did the strip at night when they went to the US of A with the Mum..At bloody night with an Ex Vietnam Vet: Noooooooooo! Nuts to that..Tony said you could smell the hemp in the cabin...

  11. I do keep calm, it is great to see him getting into knots because he can not wind me up the way he wants to i think this may have been why he thought about going for me fist in the air... Been ok again today, asked if i needed anything whilst he was out at the shops
  12. When i were a lad: i was in the Army,,wink wink! my job was to hurt people who got in the way: He discovered this on Sunday when he raised a fist to me. Let me just say, he will not do it again. I have never ever used the skills that the Army gave me all those years ago, but Sunday was the first time i have felt threatened..we were in a small kitchen space and he is a big lad and strong, so i had to get in and show him he can not intimidate little old 76years old me:::He is a Tw-t to even think it. He has been OK all week now I wander why: I did once tell him never to get on the wrong side of a 5 foot 8" Welshman...as we can come leaping and bounding down the mountain nashing and grinding our teeth and we hit bigger than our size: Bit like the Black watch but without the Kilts: As i said, it was 6 weeks from the last outburst and again after a visit to a motor parts shop he goes to at 6 weekly intervals...then this happens..i think it may be white powder related as i said.. Think i need to find a cheap camper van...
  13. Shop the twat, I have thought about it But his mother would be devastated if he got jail: even if she never had a clue it was me...can't do that to her. But he will get his comeuppance before i croak: i can guaranty it...i have a plan for when his Mum has gone: That is if I last that long!

  15. He is an arse, but it is his Mother i fell in-love with not him..He and his elder brother are complete arseOles taken the Mother for every thing.. Good job i am the age i am and not 30 or trouble would ensue I could still kick their arses if i needed to mind...it may well come to it It all started because i was standing up looking at the TV whilst giving Pat a drink ....Ca! wtf was all that about: happens every 6 weeks or so i think he takes some thing, only ever on a Sunday night after he has been to a ( Place ) coke i think, i may just have to kick his arse 76 or not: and he thinks i could not: he will learn the hard way me thinks. Will try and do pics of the workshop..is it easy to put pics on here?
