That's a really nice looking bike, Bob. Yeah, they're not a serious offroader, but I guess a few fire roads would be OK.

It's the Street Scrambler 900, Pete. It's a bit lower than the 1200 Scrambler. It's 64bhp and 59ft/lb torque, which is more than enough for the roads around here. It weighs 223kg, but the centre of gravity is quite low, so it doesn't feel as unstable as the CB500X did when maneuvering, even though the Honda is quite a bit lighter. It's only got 5 gears, but their quite tall ratios, so, with the torque it pulls from low down. Nice relaxed riding, mate.

Thanks @skyrider. The colour is a special edition, but it was all I could get until later in the year. But, I saw it in the showroom and instantly took a shine to it! My missus loves it, so I'll probably have to hide the keys!

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything until I'd got my grubby mitts on it! Yep, chopped the Honda in against it and got a reasonable price for it too. I guess it helps that they're a dealer for Honda as well as Triumph.

New bike day!

We went to North Norway a couple of years ago around this time of year and it was spectacular! But I'd love to do it on the bike during the summer months. Especially the Atlantic coast highway! Awesome experience mate!
