  1. It's a chain of cheap and cheerful bakery shops, @Pedro . Often frequented by those with limited money and no respect for their bodies!
  2. It's just a set of engine dresser bars. The trouble is that the shipping cost and duty weren't broken down, so I don't know how much VAT and duty or shipping cost was. As it was DHL I'm guessing that the shipping cost was pretty steep! On the plus side, it arrived in a couple of days! And it was still slightly cheaper than buying it locally.
  3. The trouble is that some people have ordered stuff off Amazon in other countries, but the items have been shipped from the UK so, although there's nothing saying that's going to happen, people have been contacted by the postal service demanding additional payment. Hopefully that's not the case here, but yeah, keep an eye open for that. I recently bought something from World of Triumph in the UK. I knew that I'd be paying duty and VAT as well as the shipping charge, but they added another 75% to the total I paid. It was still cheaper than buying direct from Triumph here, but it did make a bargain a bit less of a bargain than I had hoped!
  4. Are you getting them delivered to you in Spain? If so, watch out for customs charges! People here in France are getting fleeced large sums of money by the customs and delivery people.
  5. Thanks. There was plenty of interesting driftwood on the beach, along with loads of seashells, so we had a good time checking them out. Mandy liberated some smaller bits of driftwood and some interesting shells, which are resting out on our patio table at the moment!
  6. Went for stroll along the beach today.
  7. That's a really nice looking bike, Bob. Yeah, they're not a serious offroader, but I guess a few fire roads would be OK.
  8. Fortunately I dress to the left, Pete, so it'll only be my leg getting hot!
  9. Yeah, it's like coming home, Pete!
  10. It's the Street Scrambler 900, Pete. It's a bit lower than the 1200 Scrambler. It's 64bhp and 59ft/lb torque, which is more than enough for the roads around here. It weighs 223kg, but the centre of gravity is quite low, so it doesn't feel as unstable as the CB500X did when maneuvering, even though the Honda is quite a bit lighter. It's only got 5 gears, but their quite tall ratios, so, with the torque it pulls from low down. Nice relaxed riding, mate.
