Yes, best to be safe.

Do bikes need an MOT in Spain? No MOT for bikes here!
-
My bike is a bit utility though, as I don't have a car. The top box is a necessity for me, but it's a Honda CB500X, it doesn't have lines, more like a 5 year olds scribbles!

Just lubed it Pete. Motul chainlube for road bikes. Did it when I got back, so it can soak in overnight before I use the bike tomorrow.

I'm bracing myself for a late charge! I voted for Sofia because, well, it's a Speed Triple! Do tailpacks carry the same stigma as top boxes? Asking for a friend!

If you get pinged by the app you'll need to get a PCR test done, otherwise it's business as usual. You could try to get a lateral flow test, but it's only for your peace of mind. I don't know what the actual rules are, but that's what my sons had to do when their mum tested positive. Good luck.

Definitely jam first. Spread the jam onto the scone and then a dollop of clotted cream on top of that......makes perfect sense.
-
Be careful, the order that you put the jam and clotted cream onto your scone could start an international incident!

Don't say that to my Aunt......it's always sunny in Cornwall according to her! She lives in Torpoint and it's the centre of the known universe! Still, you can console yourself with a pasty or two!

I think that you make an important observation here @Pedro. The majority of people are not trying to get into the UK to get welfare handouts, as is the story perpetuated by the media, they see the UK as a place of opportunities that do not exist in their home countries and they want to improve their standard of living. It's a bit like Hollywood of the 1920s and 30s. People moved there looking for the opportunities that they couldn't find where they came from.

Was it 2000 when there was an HGV strike? I seem to remember that didn't end well either!

Apparently the same engine as your bike, @XTreme. http://vogefrance.fr/voge-650dsx/

RHA executive criticised In particular, one of their executives, Rod McKenzie, comes in for criticism. He is a man who would naturally draw the suspicions of the government, since once long ago he worked with the BBC. McKenzie is accused of ‘selectively leaking’ remarks made in a private meeting with oil company leaders. In a chilling hint of the panic and rage inside government and a warning of what may be to come, a senior government source is quoted as saying: “McKenzie is just a moaning Remainer and he and the RHA are entirely responsible for this panic and chaos. We will deal with them when this is over.”

I saw that a government minister has said that they're going to "sort out" the RHA once the current crisis is over........I can see that ending well!

The Delta variant is the predominant one here too, but we're not seeing the same increases in new infections as the UK. Mainly a different vaccine and no "Freedom day" here?

I wasn't suggesting that you are one of them, mate, but some of those ranting about it on Facebook must be. Someone is now suggesting that it's the fuel companies and government trying to boost revenues after all the lockdowns!
-
I saw that someone on Facebook was having a go at all the fuel panic buyers (remoaners, apparently) and finished his rant with a comment that he could only squeeze £20 of fuel into his car! With all those taking the moral high-ground I'd be interested to know who all the panic buyers are?

I guess that having 12+ year old kids vaccinated here is having an effect. I see younger kids walking down the road to school in the morning and they've all got masks on. Interestingly, my eldest so told me that my ex has gone down with Covid (double vaccinated) in the last week or so, she works in a school. So, make of that what you will!
