  1. How many of them will never be ridden, just stored away as an investment? Nah, bikes are to be ridden!
  2. The bugger probably died after biting me!
  3. Unfortunately, due to my tinnitus, I can't hear the bastards either, so I'm an easy target for them!
  4. It's got some stripes on it, hence the name, but it lives up to the name by being a right bitey bastard!
  5. I just went into the bedroom and one of the buggers followed me in there. So I've switched the mozzie killer on and shut the door! That'll teach it!
  6. We've got the normal buggers here and Tiger Mosquitoes. The Tiger bites are nasty. Funnily enough, I was just in the kitchen near the open door and got bitten on my left ankle! Didn't even see the bugger!
  7. They close the road outside schools around here in the morning, at lunchtime and at kicking out time. They have a steel barrier that goes across the road, which the local municipal police operate.
  8. In the court of the Crimson King Gentle Giant Land of grey and Pink Tarkus Aqualung Fragile Argus Selling England by the Pound (very apt at the moment!) Tubular Bells Dark side of the moon Warrior on the Edge of Time Tales of King Arthur Fly By Night Rubicon MoonMadness Point of Know Return Script for a Jesters Tear That's all I've got off the top of my head.
  9. I think that's a Moody Blues album too, but don't know the name of it.
  10. But that would give the game away, Pete.
  11. I think I've got 16 too....it'd be 18 if I could remember the names of the Todd Rundgren and Greenslade albums. Ooh....ooh.....Rick Wakeman - Tales of King Arthur? Does that give me 17 confirmed? I think that I've got 13 of them on vinyl or CD too.
  12. I'm wondering if the AZ is not so good with the Delta variant. I heard from my boys that my ex is quite ill with Covid at the moment and she is double vaccinated. She works in a primary school, so it didn't take long after the schools went back for it to start spreading at a rate again.

  14. I was meant to have the Astra Zeneca jab, but the vaccination centre that I booked my appointment at only did Pfizer, so I got that instead, so I think it was the same in the UK. It all depended on where you got the vaccination done.
  15. The temptation was too strong?

  18. When you see some useless biker tat advertised, link it here so we can all have a laugh!
  19. It wasn't too bad price wise for an eBike, @Slowlycatchymonkey. Look up Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance 400. They're solidly made and use the Bosch drive system. The tracks round here are harsh, so it needs to be pretty solid to survive those!
  20. It depends on which mode you're in, Pete. In eco mode it should be good for a bit over 100km, but in Turbo mode I think you'd be lucky to see 40km.
  21. Yeah, there's no way any phone camera will compete with any decent DSLR/Mirrorless, but it's the convenience factor of always having the phone in my pocket. A photo opportunity that I've always regretted not taking was on my way to work one morning in a village not far from the big hangers at Cardington in Bedfordshire. As I drove into the village that morning the moon was still in the sky, just above a line of trees and there was one of the airships from Cardington just above the moon. It looked like the moon was suspended from the airship. I wished that I'd had my camera with me!
