We went to a little bike show in Narbonne yesterday afternoon. It wasn't huge, but there were a good selection of bikes to look at and sit on. It was local bike dealers, rather than manufacturers displaying the bikes. Mandy is interested in the new Triumph 400X, so she had a sit on one, which is slightly on the tall side for her, but not ridiculous. They had the old Himalayan there, which she sat on, but the dealer said that they're getting the new one in fairly soon. She had a sit on the Ducati Scrambler 800, which she also liked. It made quite a nice few hours out, and Mandy is now fired up to get back out on her bike too!

I used to quite like that game. If I was going out for a ride, but couldn't decide where, I'd pick a few of the tags and do a circuit to find them. When I did my tour of Wales it was guided by some of the tags. I went to places that wouldn't have otherwise known. I was never going to complete the challenge, but I did visit a few interesting places on the bike.

Just been educating some French people in the art of the English language! It's only when you try to teach someone else, that you realise how weird English is! And then try to explain what a doer is, or why read can mean "to read" or "have read"......yes, it's spelled the same, but pronounced differently! Or how to pronounce queue.....yes, just ignore how it's spelled, think of it as kew.....what? That doesn't help?

I think that you mean Cortizone injections Lionel, but we know what you mean. Unfortunately they didn't help my right knee, but the doctor over here then gave me a course of Hyaluronic acid injections into the joint and they've been good for nearly 3 years now. I get the occasional twinge in my knee, but before those injections the pain would keep me awake at night! Good luck, chap.

Exactly, @Clive! There's more to it than just semantics!

So, you're suggesting that maybe Neil Armstrong had actually got out of the landing module, set up a camera, climbed back up the steps of the module and posed for a photo on the steps to make it look like these were his first steps onto the surface of the moon? Outrageous! Great pictures BTW.

I often wonder about this camera thing. It's like these bike vloggers that do ride pasts on camera. How did the camera get there before they did? It's a mystery for sure!

I didn't lose my rag, just posted the two things that I think would explain the phenomenon illustrated in the picture that you posted. I don't have the skills to try to explain them, so I left it that further research could be undertaken if required or desired. With respect to the arguments around whether the earth is flat or spherical, I have my own beliefs. If others have a different belief, then, that is highly unlikely to affect my day-to-day life, so I have no strong feelings on it. Live and let live. In fact, this is my philosophy towards most things that are unlikely to affect my personal life. However, there are things that do get me going. Take, for instance, the current UK government's reclassification of the UK State pension as a "benefit". Why change this classification, unless it's to introduce some changes to the pension? This is something that does animate me, as there could be repercussions that do affect me directly. Here, I could very much lose my rag! Selfish? Probably! But I doubt that I'd be alone in this. So, in conclusion, your beliefs on the shape of the Earth or some of your other beliefs may or may not align with mine, but you're entitled to them and, as they're things that are highly unlikely to affect me directly, I have no strong feelings on them. Peace.

I see you more as a Nobber, Pete. I think that he must be mistaking you for someone else, mate!
