We don't get our passports stamped, but we have to show our French residency cards. Any brits without residency cards got their passports stamped. This is at the airports, so the border guards in Spain may not be as efficient. Obviously, if we travel within the Schengen area we don't even have to show our residency cards and the passports are just for identity checks. Things are going to be fun from next year with the Etias scheme being implemented.

The French bikers have been kicking off the last few years about CT (MOT) being introduced for bikes. They'd lynch anyone even suggesting different speed limits!

I once filled one of my diesel company cars with unleaded. The company were good about it and got the AA out to drain the tank, which took the guys about 2 hours!

Yep, it certainly got my attention!

She's doing ok now, thanks Clive.

She's not feeling too bad now, thanks.

Well, ours got off to a good start. Mandy jumped out of bed with leg cramp in the early hours. The next thing I heard was a loud thump and stuff falling off her bedside table, so I turned the light on and she's laying on the floor next to the bed without a clue as to how she got there! I lifted her legs up to get the blood back into her head. After a while she felt well enough to get into bed, but she was still pretty groggy. She's spent most of the morning in bed and found a nice lump on the side of her head, which I guess was from hitting it on the bedside table as she fell. She's just had some lunch and is feeling a bit better now, but we'll keep an eye on her and get her to the hospital if she doesn't feel better soon. So, how's all of your Friday 13th going?

I've still got my Galaxy S8 that must be 6 or more years old now. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it still works OK. The battery life was never great, even when it was new, but it still seems to be doing ok. In fact I'm using it now, to stream Bob's Prog Rock radio to my sound system!

I've got a Xiaomi something or other phone, which I've had for 3 years now. It still works OK ish, but there's one or two niggles starting to creep in, so I may have to look at replacing it in the not-too-distant future. Mandy has an Honor phone that she's had for slightly longer, but it has developed an annoying fault with the touch screen, where the top right of the screen keeps on triggering, so apps shut when she's trying to use them, or some apps open on their own if they're in that region of the screen. Anyway, she's gone for a Galaxy A54.

Sorry to hear that @Buckster. I lost my best mate to cancer 15 years ago and I still remember when I heard the news. His wife phoned me whilst I was away working. He still kept his sense of humour, even on his death bed. Apparently he said to his wife "tell Bob that I love him, but not in THAT way!" I still miss him. Cherish the good memories mate.

Thanks Pete. Yes, I'm still mulling over what to do. Something with a better range than the Triumph, but not a hoofing great adventure barge!

Unfortunately you can only get to them by a hike, Bob. I've not done it yet, but it's now on the list.

Mandy is having a right struggle at work at the moment. A guy that she was working with got promoted way beyond his abilities and he's now trying to micromanage Mandy, even though she pretty much carried him before his promotion. I'm half expecting her to come home one day soon and announce that she's told them all to fuck off! Unfortunately she's got a couple more years before she can start to draw her NHS pension and my pensions are not enough to keep us both. Interesting times!

Happy birthday @Marcel, hope that you're having a groovy day. 🏍

Went for another wee bimble again this morning. Headed over to le Chateau de Lastours, which is not far from Carcassonne. It was a bit murky when I set off, but the sun soon burned off the cloud and the temperature hit the mid 20s. There were a reasonable few nutters on the road, but I just let them get on with it in the hopes that I wouldn't get tied up in any accidents they caused. I guess that it was a little under 200km round trip.
