And the ball ache trying to get parts if it needed them! Not for me, thanks!

I saw an XS1100 for sale here recently and the guy wanted about 6000€ for it. Not silly money, like Kawasaki 2 stroke triples go for now, but it's an old bike which can't compete with many newer bikes, so I personally think that it's overpriced. I'm really not swayed by rose tinted nostalgia to pay silly money for bikes that were good in their day but are likely to be a liability now.

I had an XS1100, which wasn't bad, and a TS185, which was a hoot! A mate of mine had a GS1000, which was pretty awesome. Out of them all I'd go for another TS185, just so much fun!

We pay 137€ a month for electricity, we don't have gas. Another month and we'll probably not be using the heating, so it should drop down for a few months, until we have to start using the air-conditioning.

That's ridiculous......nearly as much as the car is worth!

Nice, heavy version of this Beatles classic.

The biggest problems with that country at the moment are caused by politicians screwing the general population and the swathes of the population who shunned education, enabling those politicians. Aided and abetted by those who have swallowed the "woke" rhetoric. Anyway, I nearly spat my beer out in a pub garden years back when a couple were calling their son over: "Tarquin, Tarqhin, come here, we are leaving"!

Cheers, Pete.

When we were at the top of the main mountain on Tuesday sitting enjoying the view (we went up by cable car) and sipping our vin chaud a lady was being helped off the slopes and lifted into the cable car! Not the best advert for skiing! Anyway, there was no shortage of those willing to risk life and limb!

We went on a couple of snow shoe walks on our few days away in the Cevennes. Bloody hard work, especially in the fresh soft snow!

I went with Saul because BOTM for Dec/Jan having snow in the picture seems appropriate. Sooner him than me though!

Are you talking series or films or both?
