I took out a kind of "top up" insurance for healthcare some time back, but when my OH started work she gets this top up insurance as part of her package and can include me in it too! Hoorah! BUT, when I tried to cancel the my top up insurance they put all manner of obstacles in the way and refused to cancel it! BOO! BUT, then the French government passed a law that says that you can cancel this type of insurance anytime after the first year, without penalties or charges! Hoorah!! So I've now managed to cancel the insurance and save 150€/month! Fuckin' excellent!!

Bloody hell it was cold this morning. Average speed reduced by a fairly fierce and cold headwind and then one of the guys getting not one, but 2 punctures! Anyway, I think I feel better for it!

Interesting. My only question is that he's not factored in the cost of the 240-12v converter and its running cost, which is likely to be significantly less than running a 1kw heater, but will have a cost. But, it looks very promising.

A short and slightly chilly ebike ride this morning. At least the sun was shining! A better average speed, because I was on my own and only stopped a couple of times.
