  1. But where was the engine in your bike made, Pete? I can't remember where the engine in the Reiju is made. Loncin? Anyway, the thing that really worries me on a lot of the Chinese bikes is the 3000 mile/ 5000km service interval! Why is that necessary? Hmmmmm?
  2. The older ones had the nickname "exploders"! I wonder if they've sorted that?
  3. What make are those calipers? There's a possibility that they're used by other bike manufacturers on their bikes? I found that the front calipers on an old CB750F2N that I had were exactly the same as used on the early model Triumph Street Triple 675! Ones from the Honda were as rare as rocking horse shit, but there were plenty of the Triumph ones around!
  4. Nice job, man. I was out on my ebike yesterday morning. Just some of our local roads. Nowhere near as spectacular as where you are.
  5. The Reiju Aventura engine is pretty much a straight up copy of the Honda CB500 engine from what I've read. Some of the cycle parts on that bike look pretty well manufactured too. Not too sure about the twin tanks though! If the bike is as frugal as the CB500s, then a single 20 litre tank would be enough?
  6. The forecast here isn't too smart either, but I don't usually get out on the bike at weekends anyway. Some more Bonneville carburettor diagnostics could be on the cards. Probably some beer drinking too! Cheers!
  7. Another great Tom Petty song!
  8. I think that they're both part of the same trust anyway. Fingers crossed that she gets seen sooner.
  9. I've just booked the airport carpark at Carcassonne for our upcoming trip to the UK to do the rounds!
  10. No, I agree Clive, September is way too long to wait. Unfortunately getting seen for some things is a bit of a postcode lottery. Would they be under Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham?
  11. Has your daughter tried changing your granddaughters diet slightly? Maybe she has a lactose or gluten intolerance? My eldest son has Crohn's and he has to steer away from anything with high fibre. Obviously your daughter wants to get to the bottom of it, but trying to alter your granddaughters diet slightly may help. Also, could it be anxiety? Is your granddaughter stressed about anything? School, bullying, etc?
  12. Unfortunately it's the underfunding of the NHS that is the disgrace really. That and the increased regulations that the health service have to operate under now. Some of my old customers used to complain that they had to take front line staff off of their primary roles and put them at a desk just to keep up with all the regulatory requirements!
