Been there a few times. Really interesting place for sure. They've got some conference facilities there and my missus organised a customer meeting there a good few years back. Part of the package was free entry into the museum for those interested.

A sore arse?

Another outing, this one was on the non-ebike. Headwind on the first half of the ride was tiring, but the return trip was better.

When is home delivery not home delivery? When UPS don't even ring the doorbell, but claim you weren't in and take the package that you've waited in for to their collection point in the next town. That's when! Just as well that we can drive and have cars, otherwise we'd be screwed!

Has something happened and you need to vent? Then let rip.......!

If it's in Essex, then it's the arse end of the world! I'm allowed to say that, as my missus is from Sarfend!

Happy birthday Michelle, I hope that you're having a fab day in spite of things. Hopefully you found cake!

So, most days I can't remember what I had for breakfast, or even what day it is! But how come I can remember most of the lyrics to this song that I first heard nearly 50 years ago?

A friday fun test. This maths test can predict your favourite film. Not sure how it works but it does. Mine was Star Wars. Pick a number between 1 and 9. Multiply by 3. Add 3 to that number. Multiply by 3 again. Add the 2 digits together. Now discover your favourite film! 3. Oliver Twist. 4. Star Wars. 5. Forrest Gump. 6. Saving Private Ryan. 7. Jaws. 8. Grease. 9. The Joy of Anal Sex with Male Sheep & Oiled-Up Lady Boys. 10. Mary Poppins

Certainly a nice part of the world there, mate.

Cheers mate. It's very different to what I had in the UK, but it's not really the place for hooligan bikes here, so I went for something a bit more sedate! and, given a lot of the roads here, minor off road capabilities are definitely needed! It's not perfect, but it does what I want most of the time.

Sounds like you're doing your very best to give your daughter the environment that she needs right now. Keep up the sterling work mate. Yeah, schools! My OH's son had a torrid time at school for much the same reasons. He has a few mental health problems, but his school refused to take them into account. He used to get put into isolation for minor misdemeanours, like forgetting his PE kit etc, but on more than one occasion had panic attacks during the isolation and had to get out of there. The school decided that they needed to escalate his punishment, without any thought on the effect this would have on him! My OH went up the school multiple times, only to be met with a stone wall! Since her son left school his mental health has improved immensely! Anyway, vent as often as you want. As @MooN says, most here will be glad to offer whatever encouragement and support they can.

Nice jaunt out on the cycle today. Average speed is pretty low because we stopped off a couple of times and then one of the guys got a puncture. Anyway, the route, the gang (apart from Pascale, who took the photo) and a couple of pics from the ruins of a Roman house we looked at.

The state of that road requires full concentration, Bob!

View across the nature reserve at Vendres from the ruins of a roman villa on my cycle ride this morning.
