    Pedro's food

It went into a curry, mate, so it didn't stand a chance!

    Pedro's food

Yeah, it's easy. Just sling a bit of DNA into a pot and hey presto!

    Pedro's food

Just put finely diced potato, finely diced carrot, frozen peas and onion. Nice and simple. Not tried poppadoms, but we often make paratha or chapatis to go with it too! Also very simple to make. Not sure about the prawn korma, but the rest sounds really good.

    Pedro's food

Homemade vegetable samosas to go with the homemade turkey and lentil curry! A bit rustic looking, but tasted good.
  6. Hold on there partner! it's looking like the nomination fairy has just visited you!
  7. I nominate @busabeast then. Go get 'em tiger!
  8. Getting the right mods is the challenge!
  9. In response to those who advocate that the forum doesn't need moderators. You have insurance for your bike. You hope that you don't need it, but are glad of it when you do. Having a couple of mods to help spread the load from Pete is not a bad idea, but it's up to the members of the forum to make sure that they don't have much to do. Ideally they'd have bugger all to do, but we live in the real world!
  10. I think that everyone appreciates that you've got a lot on your plate at the moment, Pete, and could do with some assistance in keeping this place together, but I'm really not sure I could give it the time that it needs, mate. To do the job effectively I think that the individual needs the respect, banter aside, of ALL the members on the forum and clearly I don't have that, but there are others here, as well as @boboneleg, who can command that respect, if they are willing to take up the mantle.
  11. Sorry Pete, I'm really not following the logic here. Starting a thread to point out that maybe we've lost our way a bit and we should all of us try to get back on track isn't rabble rousing in my mind? Raising it to the wider group seemed the most appropriate way of getting everyone to acknowledge it and maybe look at ways to make it happen. It is the elephant in the room, it won't go away by ignoring it. I'm also not sure where else I could be accused of rabble rousing either? Maybe point me in the direction of said interaction? Anyway, enough rabble rousing, I've got homework to do.
  12. As I say, Pete, if people have others on mute, then they're not likely to want the gig, so it'd be a bit of a waste of time nominating them? I'd nominate @MooN, but I suspect that he's got his hands full with his new job. Again, he's level headed and articulate. The same goes for @Skippy.
  13. I'm not sure how being English has anything to do with it? And the other forum is just different from this one. I can take banter and actually enjoy it, but there's a line in the sand where it goes from banter to something more sinister, which has no place here, in my mind. Obviously, if the majority of members on here are happy with that, then so be it. I'd be disappointed if that was the case, but c'est la vie.
  14. I'd also give a vote to @Sir Fallsalot if he is willing? I'd nominate others too, but know for sure that they have at least one other member on silence, so I guess that wouldn't work!
  15. I disagree, @boboneleg. You're level headed, but don't take no shit, and can also string coherent sentences together! Ideal mod material I'd say.
  16. This lot would do my head in, Pete! In all honesty I don't think I have the time to devote that it would require, mate. Sounds crazy, as I'm retired, but my days are pretty busy most of the time.
