A mate of mine had a silver CBX1000 identical to that unfaired one back in the day. Nice bike to ride, but my XS1100 had more grunt.

Guy, the fellah who took this photo and lead the ride today is 86 years old! He's out most days, either biking or hiking!

Decent bike gear is essential if you're commuting or doing serious mileage year round. I've picked up some pretty good gear secondhand on ebay over the years. There's also a lot of crap on there, so you've got to be a bit picky.
