I know fuck all about this!

Neville Chamberlain knew that the agreement signed by Hitler wasn't worth the paper it was written on, but Britain wasn't prepared for a war, so it was just intended to buy some time to allow Britain to build up their armaments. Apparently, Putin has surrounded himself with those loyal to his cause and has some of the most extreme security in place to protect him, so an assassination looks incredibly unlikely. Funnily, one of Putin's inner circle was spouting off on Russian state TV that the US should hand Alaska back to them and pay reparation for the 200 years it's been in American hands! Seems like they really do want a war with the west!

Seems that the Russians are laying the groundwork for chemical attacks!

It'll be interesting to see if they do supply any help.

A Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian depot 7.5 miles from the Polish border at the weekend! Lots of NATO troops in Norway and Lithuania on "manoeuvres"! Inching closer to a full scale war!

Ground beef to The Virgin Mary.......and we're still on the first page!

You're more than welcome, mate. We're about 20 minutes from Capestang.

When in June will you be over here @Six30? My boys are over the first week, but I think we're OK after that.

Likewise, @Slowlycatchymonkey, if you need a stopover anytime, give me a shout.
-
As I said to @Pedro, if you need a stopover, just give me a shout.

None of them are! Call themselves communists, but are anything but!
-
If you're ever over this way and need a stopover just let me know @Pedro.

What do you mean "gonna"? Consider yourselves already "got"!

Using less power isn't looking like bad idea at the moment? Our EU approved kettle and vacuum cleaner both seem to do their jobs well enough!

Each phase to neutral is 220v, but 380v between phases, innit! The equipment I used to work on was made in Japan, that run on 100v AC, so the equipment had big transformers in them to reduce the supply from whichever country it was installed into down to 100v.
