  1. So it's more up your street than the triumph was?
  2. Polar opposite to you then pete
  3. Too much car for him and its not French enough
  4. I could just see the old codger on a monkey bike though I'd assume it would be too tall seat height for the midget
  5. Over here the risk definitely wouldn't be worth the penalty, I've known a few to be hauled in front of the traffic commissioner for relatively minor things so unless I was running without a tacho I wouldn't be doing it
  6. Well what the fuck you go and do that for
  7. No you definitely couldn't get away with that here. Over here it's a 45 min break after every 4 ½ hours of driving but if you don't drive the full 4 ½ hours you need to have taken a 15 min break within 6 hours of starting your shift. You can drive up to 10 hours twice a week and reduce your rest periods from 11 hours to 9 hours no more than 3 times in a week. You can't work 7 days a week either due to the 90 hour driving limit spread out over a 2 week period so that means you can only work 6 days 1 week and 5 the following week but you also need to take in to account the 48 hour rest period between the 2 week working periods. So I'd guess they aren't running on tacho or if they are they don't give a fuck what it says and do as they please
  8. Well it looks like the Honda roadfox is winning so it could be his next bike, I mean a polls a poll and he can't go against the will of the people. Though I know for a fact one on that list would suit his needs perfectly, can any of you work out which I mean
  9. What would worry me more is axle overloading especially with the unit, he's only got a single axle id have expected a lift axle for that kind of weight and its only a little scania R430 by looks of it
  10. When I'm on the green waste runs we quite often run very close to our 44t max and when I say close I mean within 20kg of 44t so a large breakfast would have us overweight, id bet if they loaded that to capacity you'd be running around 50t give or take. Would that trailer have the gear on the back to make it in to a road train with an extra 5th wheel coupling or anything?
  11. I'd say you're possibly right the only way it might be legal is under stgo regs for oversized loads but that would require an escort
  12. A test..... lies!! You got your licence from Tony the tiger
  13. But with intermittent faults they never seem to happen at the requisite times, it will behave itself with the mechanic then as soon as old man rivers gets it back it will start again
  14. But nothing isn't an option so didn't put it down
  15. Goes with the DBM lifestyle
  16. Petes entry for the pamplona bull run
  17. @Buckster sighted on his new harley
  18. So what's the old twat going to get this week
  19. Tomorrow we are heading back home from our family holiday away in great Yarmouth. It's not been a bad week, all 3 kids have enjoyed themselves immensely. Back to the daily grind on Monday
  20. Yes, I believe mine is
  21. It's never going to be the right temp for you, just got out and go get yet another new bike so you can have it for 20 mins then you'll be needing to change it yet again
  22. But it might be drizzling at some point on the way or too hot or too cold, the clouds might be going the wrong direction or he won't pass enough dago midget bumholes on the way to get his fix,so I'm afraid riding his bike to said dealers is out of the question
