  1. I could probably do with leaning forward more on the launch to keep it down you're right, its something I'll be testing on the next day there
  2. I will do that from now on, I didn't know that about shorts I was just thinking extended swingarm will counteract it wanting to flip at higher rpm launching
  3. But he in not doing it at the strip, so its really meaningless
  4. Mine has a quick shifter and its got more power and it will be a fair chunk lighter, someone who can pin the busa from the lights without flipping or spinning up will wipe the floor with it, i dont think it would be as close as you think, and my starts whilst not lightening quick im still less than half a second behind my mates who have been doing it for a long time so its not all doom and gloom
  5. My thoughts are its all just talk
  6. So it wasn't actually a video of the bike going down the strip, it means nothing
  7. Erm not really, theres nowhere suitable to practice that I know about, and given just how sticky santa pod track is you'll never replicate it so learning off the track is kinda pointless
  8. No i kno, I'll be going next time with a few things in mind to get a better launch and just have a bigger set of bollocks
  9. Well take your barge down the strip and post your timing slip
  10. You could but you won't because you'll get shown up by a Harley?
  11. You need to be taking yours down the strip....
  12. He hasn't had a fag in a day course he's angry.....
  13. Why stop at one turbo..... need one forever each individual cylinder...
  14. I should set up a go fund me page
  15. So what's it to be mate.... yay or nay?
  16. That rear tyre has done 4k miles so its shagged
  17. Hey you still could and I would stick that on the bike
  18. No im just getting a new tyre, wont get a new chain till I get swingarm extension
  19. That last video the bike was a tl1000 turbo running around 370bhp, if he'd have got off the line it would have been good to see a fast bike against a mental fast bike
  20. I'll have plenty more on the 10th August
  21. No and thats the problem with the busa dumping the clutch will just flip it, im being very careful with the clutch in the vids, Shaun and ant are being more brutal with letting their clutches out, in the last video you can hear it spinning up in 2nd and 3rd before it finally hooked up but that was running 42psi in the rear
  22. Also my rear tyre is completely snagged so im getting it changed on Wednesday along with getting it mot'd and I'll be using it for work to get the rear tyre bedded in before I give it some stick at the strip im hoping with a nice new sticky tyre it will hook up better off the line and make it less inclined to spin up, I will try one burnout to see if that makes much difference
  23. This was my first run down the strip
