  1. Not really when there's a place in Gateshead where I can get it done
  2. That's fair I just don't think I'll be doing that distance just for a dyno run
  3. And why would it be blacklisted?
  4. The only problem is he's down in brizzle and I'm in Sunderland, I'd I was closer I'd defo be checking him out
  5. Couldn't agree more though, I mean I couldn't hold back and that was the end result....
  6. So it's first clean just finished but I didn't get to detail it as it started raining just as I'd finished drying it.... There were a few bugs and some road grime on my beak so it needed cleaning I just didn't get around to polishing it due to the poxy rain, but once cleaned there's not a huge amount to do till its nice and shiny All dried and back in the stable ready to use for work in the morning
  7. To be fair it only requires 1 gear down and it's fine so I can probably live with it, I want to get it on a dyno though to see what is going on
  8. Needs a clean and polish though
  9. So just got the beast out of the stable and under the rear seat is A power commander 5 and auto tune module and the box for the transontranslogic quick shifter. Looking at the exhaust it would seem to be a full yoshimura stainless system So I'm going to hazard a guess its not quite as standard as I thought it was, but the modifications are in good taste I think be interested to see if the airbox mod and sports airfilter have been installed too
  10. I don't think it's exactly a state, the only thing out of place slightly is that tail pack I think if it was another box it would look right even if it would make it look abit goldwing-ish
  11. Hmmm I'd honestly have to say from a biased point of view yes. The thing is this bike is literally in a league of its own I honestly do believe that there's nothing else road biased that can beat it, yes where Pete goes on his travels the cb500x may well do a better job than the beast but on the tarmac there's not much if anything that will live with it. So it's an each to their own answer it does what Pete needs of it as does the busa for my needs
  12. They are just sublime mate, looking at them they don't look that comfortable but 120 miles was no issue and I'm not exactly what you'd call conditioned to long distance riding, I'm extremely happy with it
  13. I know right, lives in Wales and moans it's raining, should have lived in England
  14. Hmmm sounds like the barge captain has been drinking again
  15. I think you need your x2 glasses on Fred
  16. And who might that man be?
  17. Could we rename yours the barge captain
  18. That woman in red is going quick...looks like the speed of light almost
  19. It does? I never heard that one before it doesn't feel like a monkey humping a football, maybe a monkey strapped to a cruise missile
  20. Nah I'm going to go with busabeast..... its final
  21. Tbh I think it looks like a well thought out luggage system, well balanced at any rate. It suits the himalayan
  22. Thanks Clive, I may very well take it for an outing next time I do a trackday, just because....
