Bloody tax dodging best get prepared for
-
Looks like it was a good day out
-
How come its under the wife's name?
-
Yeah I bet, I doubt I'll have the chance of retirement when I get to the requisite age it will probably be around 120 years old by time I get the there by which time it will be straight in to the box
-
Yeah it seems we have been in similar situations, im currently on only 3 days a week though that is due to change next wheen so I'll be back up to 5 days a wee which is around 1500 quid a month albeit paid weekly which isn't the best id prefer monthly pay so everything goes out at the same time and then I can budget the rest as desired
-
Its definitely crossed my mind
-
Yeah I would never be without her but its definitely no walk in the park money wise. And this is without a mortgage at the moment
-
3-6 months in reserve.........I currently have 120 to my name ......don't think im doing too well on that front
-
We currently live 250 miles from our relatives who could help out, due to living costs its much doubtful that we could go back to that area though something we are giving some thought to as if we did she could work part time aswell unlike at the moment
-
Yeah it does, one of our friends owns a nursery but would still be 48 quid a day so it would kinda be pointless putting her in for the wage she would be pulling so it will just be me working for the foreseeable
-
Yeah I am but I'm the only one of us working, she still doesn't want to go back to work........ and apparently I earn too much money for benefits
-

I too wouldn't have expected such a young battery to have such complete failure. Glad you have got to the bottom of it.....hopefully. Hopefully its not fried the reg/rec in the process

One thing to check is that it hasn't smoked the starter motor if its still not turning over, either that or you have another short somewhere in the loom. Good luck Michelle

Hope its easily sorted Michelle, obviously you will have checked all fuses you can get to? I would see about replacing them if you can now your home for known good ones, from there id then suggest checking the wiring around the ignition barrel as they could be the culprit, after that it is delving deeper into the wiring loom to check for any breaks so I hope you have either alot of patience or someone knowledgeable who does. Good luck with him
