  1. The other reason not to ride it is the ninja isn't the bike for the quite a few of the roads around Pete's area
  2. I have told her that I plan to take a trip to Spain and she said as long as I can afford it then shes ok with it, which came as a surprise. I would guess it would be much more than £400 for fuel there and back, flights I have found for 63 quid with Ryanair. I think fly hire would work out alot cheaper
  3. I also don't think the ninja would be too enjoyable on rutted unmade roads that are frequent around his manor
  4. That's fair enough mate, I wont be committing to anything until I know it wont end up going tits up, as said in the first post I am choosing to fly/ride rather than ride through france due to it being cheaper even though it would be more of an adventure financially it could be ruinous
  5. What's that the road to nowhere.....looks like something from an apocalypse movie
  6. These are all possible if they both have time free I wouldnt say no
  7. @Pedro when were you planning a visit?
  8. So I'm thinking about making a visit to spain for a week to see what havoc can be caused on xtreme(Pete's) manor and go on a few jollys on the bike with him as tour guide. Now to the nitty gritty of it, I am planning on going for the 2nd weekend in September as the holiday season will have finished by then and fingers crossed the flights should be more affordable, I did plan to ride down on my bike but at 1600 miles each way let alone what will be covered whilst there it would just prove way too expensive soo....my 2nd plan is to fly out to spain and hire a bike from the airport and ride to his area staying in a bnb or hotel. Bike hire is £525 and for that you can swing your leg over a tiger 800 or 1200 whichever takes your fancy though for where we would be riding the 800 would be a better choice. So my aim here really is to see if any of you guys would be up for joining in on the adventure so dont be shy book ya spots on this tour of a lifetime
  9. Did anything really change for you apart from the fact you were involuntarily house bound for a fair chunk of time?
  10. My vote goes to grasshopper
  11. Tiger 1200 would be perfect ? Flights over should be fairly cheap and I'd use more money than hire in fuel costs there and back let alone whilst there so think that is the way to go, flight hire bike
  12. Doesn't sound too bad like, I'll check out that link see what goes
  13. Is bike hire cheap round your neck of the woods pete? Flying could well be the way to go then just hire a bike for the duration
  14. I bloody well hope not, if it is the whole world will go back to the dark ages
  15. I'm not an easy one to embarrass and I can take the piss just as much as pete can so all will go well
  16. Yeah this is my worry if it all gets lifted so we can all get back to normal then good if not then it might need to be pencilled in for 2022.....
  17. I plan to ride down through france from Calais hoping it will take 3 days in total from Calais to make the days easy rides using camping as a preference then I plan to spend 10 days to 2 weeks mooching around then ride home It's only 1600 miles from mine ??
  18. Also option is open to all to make it abit of a lads n lasses trip of it
  19. I'm sure much fun will be had......if these restrictions ever fuck off
  20. Someone can't take the truth by sounds of it ?
  21. Your bike....you didnt have a name so made an executive decision to name it Eric P.S other names are available
  22. Went here with the school in 2000 or so and even to our small minds it was mind blowing, would love to go back at some point
