Well on Tuesday I think I may have had a steal of a job. So the jag kept going in to reduced performance, had been for months but having an icarsoft lr2 computer I would just clear the code and carry on as normal, well it got to the point that it would go in to reduced performance at the slightest hint of throttle so something needed doing. So I figured I'd buy the intake manifolds and injector seals to do the job and over a couple of weekends I'd have it done, long and short of it is I never found enough time what with skye always wanting my attention when I'm home so I thought I know I'll speak to a mate of mine see if he would do it for me. He said yeah no bother £300 which I was over the moon with as it is a pig of a job. So anyway I dropped the jag off at his last Monday and he finally finished the job off about 45 mins before I turned up to pick it up. 6½ days it took him to replace them and that's someone who works on cars all day every day. The job should have cost me minimum of 800 to 1000 quid, so to say I'm over the moon at the price is an understatement.

How long have you lived north of the border?

We're taking skye to the play cafe in Sunderland because there's some elf breakfast type shit going on, then I have no idea, apart from some food shopping at tesco and Xmas shopping which will be done via amazon. There could be one last ride of the year if things go my way and the weather holds out

Not very shocking, what field are you plowing today?

Well im at work at the moment and it's 3⁰c here and when I get home it's likely it will be around 6pm so I'll be spending some time with the daughter before she goes to bed. No chance of me going out on the bike

So what do you do for enjoyment? Sit in front of the fire with a pipe and some slippers reading the newspaper?

I do like the sniper elite games, have been playing sniper elite 5

Sounds like a good trip is coming together, I may get the occasional few hours out on the bike but having the 2nd one in April will probably be cutting any riding down to a minimum for a while so not going to plan anything and just take it a day at a time if I get out I get out if not then another day it is
