  1. So do you see some new and some old faces each time?
  2. I don’t haven’t bothered with credit cards since 1997!
  3. Balls. Theres no way a couple of them can afford that. If we’re riding everyday for over a week in France this could be potentially disastrous for breaking bank accounts. The only way around it I can see is if people don’t have a credit card or can’t pay in cash then one person pays for approx 3 peeps fuel and they reimburse them with cash. That way at least the money out of the account will have actually been spent and the person paying (that’ll probably land on me) will get the cash for it.
  4. Paging all Francophile’s @Tango @MooN and any knowledgeable Euro travel trash. Someone told me in France if you use a UK debit card at a prepay pump they take the full preauthorised amount (generally 100-130 euros) and refund it at a later date, sometimes much later (as much as 7-10 days later) but if you use a credit card the refund is instant. I looked this up and is appears to be true, is it? If it is and I refuel 4 times over the course of the day using my bank card I could potentially have 400-520 euros taken from my card in one day and have to wait for its return? Could do with knowing cos if this is correct as I would defo need put that down as a warning for the others to pay at the kiosk etc.
  5. Still obsessing over bikes seat heights just like a shorty would.
  6. Brill. Quite a big crowd there, what group are you with?
  7. We established some time ago Pete’s short
  8. Is this the more news worthy outlet? Joking aside a tik-tok trend finding Madeline donkeys later would be a right old turn up. But there are lots of reasons people hide birth certificates from children, no-one wants children to find out their sisters actually their mum or their Dads not their Dad etc, it’s usually shame or embarrassment that makes it happen. I’d be interested to see the iris colour match. Feel sorry for her though whoever she turns out to be, obviously where she came from is consuming her.
  9. There’s nothing I can say here that isn’t going to be a set up is there
  10. Yer I saw that, attention seeking fruit loop stuff aside Madeleine even as a toddler has the same sharp little pixie chin and flattish brow area her mum has, that person has much heavier features. You can see why none of the slightly more news worthy outlets have bothered with the story.
  11. Ah yer but I got wise to that game about halfway through this morning, now I go for a ride and don’t mention it.. oh shit.
  12. She was and a killer bod to go with it. Stroked out big styley last year at 53 years old. Not able to speak or move, essentially locked in being tube fed, family refusing all contact. It’s usually an awful protracted demise until eventually a chest infection or similar finishes them off but that can take years. She’d fucking hate it, she was quite an irrepressible force of nature, bright and always firing away on all cylinders, I know for certain she’d rather be gone. You never know she might recover a bit, but it would take many years.
  13. Money didn’t really float her boat, her longest serving boyfriend was a poorly paid sign painter. The old farts tenure was down to Daddy abandonment issues.
  14. In your dreams She ended up marrying a Scottish Lord, he was 20 years older than her, sleazy old fart with breath like rotting cabbage.
  15. Hmm hang on I’ll see it it will convert into a jpeg. Fixed?
  16. Out if your league mate. Out of everyones league that’s why she was so wild and free..and fun, really feckin good fun, mostly the bad sort of fun. We had a good time. Three of my six Uni bezzies. Jo’s the one in the middle.
  17. Just a pattern for the neck tubes for the women riding to the Alps in April (aka wasting my rest time feckin about ) almost finished. Not entirely sold on the font but I think I’ll leave it alone now and come back to it with fresh eyes later, hopefully not too much later or they won’t arrive in time Yes its a Himalayan deal with it
  18. Not familiar with Adobe. I am probably ready to abandon procreate, except it’s handy for travelling cos it’ designed for ipad pen use. Are adobe menus intuitive and do they do that thing where you hover the curser over an icon and it says what it is? And is it pricey? I don’t want to be fleeced by another subscription service.
  19. I guess from the way some of it works no they don’t. But they are one of the original, most highly rated, popular, innovative digital paint boxes for iOS. I just don’t find it anywhere near as easy to use as Microsoft and looking at the millions of youtube ‘how to’s out there neither does anyone else.
  20. Happy Sunday Hope the sun shows its face today. A spiced leg of lambs been blipping away overnight in preparation so there’s something warming after Love coming back from a cold ride and walking in to the smell of hearty food waiting for you, like previous me has been kind to future me, makes the winter worthwhile
