Looks lovely and what a nice project. Cant help but wonder whats holding up his Grandmothers 140yr old houses floor now though -
Could be or it could be coffee machine capsules

Assembled my nooo workbench chair, has an adjustable ring (oo er misses) so short arses like me don’t have to have their feet dangling cutting off the circulation to the back of your legs. I’ve put up with the other one for about 15years, feck knows why Very happy. The pink things are napkins, the picture frame is where all the ‘art’ work the children bring home from school gets stuck, yes the kaleidoscopic flooring will trip you over if you look at it when pie eyed. I think that’s it although I spect you lot will find something else

Yep be warned people who spend their weekends going to garden centres and washing the car are still out there in large numbers.

So well versed I’m not sure I know how to talk to normies anymore! Still not a lot of fun though.
-
Well that was a write off. Wish I'd stayed working. All the greasy spoons are closed down (another gov triumph) all three supermarket cafes no longer do a full English and my Pops was in a mood for various reasons and not a lot of fun. Pah back to work.

The Gods of Skive were listening, my Dad just txt, full English breakfast on him
-
Finished for the day. Probably would have been earlier if I hadn’t wasted time on here I’ll try harder tomorrow.. thats a lie I won’t. In fact I can feel a massive skive brewing, fingers crossed I get my work finished up first

Me neither. Although I have had a bet once when I went to watch the Gold Cup, except we were in the Panoramic which is so posh they put the racing cards on your table and the waiting staff place the bets for you at the restaurant bar so I still dont know how it works! I won £20 on "Another Rum"

All gambling is considered seedy over here. You can bet on the grand national or the cheltenham gold cup once a year and that's considered acceptable other than that it's up there with all the other vices you're supposed to be ashamed of We have unusual laws regarding gambling, the proposed super casinos caused uproar, the gambling law was amended and eventually the plans were scrapped. I've been in a very posh casino once in Kitzbuhel. It did not go well, we all lost (surprise) and my friend Jo slept with the twat ski instructor who took us there, then when we returned she discovered she was pregnant so they got married without knowing each other one jot. Needless to say it was a disaster and Jo n baby had to be rescued from Amsterdam and ended living with me for a year bit of a loose canon that one, well she was, she's currently in a vegetative state!

All this is true. But the Honda garage episode was the aftermarket alarm killing the battery and the recovery truck episode was a snapped chain, also a crappy aftermarket part fitted by an incompetent tinkerer. There have been other annoyances but all man made monkey mechanic post production stuff nothing to do with the bike as is. Famous last words now ay, I’ll bloody go n break down
-
Me neither. Well monkey mechanic made ones but none with the bike.

aah yes same with a Himalayan

Never too late -
Well who could turn that down...

To a Brit the middle of a hight street seems a weird place for a casino. In the UK Casino's are down side roads n back streets, sort of place you'd find nightclubs and other nefarious activities that mostly happen at night. I'm guessing they're not viewed as places for ne'er-do-well's in the USA?

You don't fool me, your magic's not limited to making peoples head hair drop out, I've seen all the death n decay wherever you stop, before you could fully control your powers you gave yourself mange FFS
-
Sounds like an SOS situation to me
-
You'd struggle not to get on with him, he's a down to earth no frills type of person.
-
Is that wise? I mean Pedro had a full head of hair before he rode with you
-
Well I seemed to have successfully wasted the last two days and now I have to pay the price. Hope I can get into bed before midnight the rest of the week. Laters gators.

I did his LEJOG ride cos I needed Mr Slowly to understand the vagaries of large group rides ie it’s mostly a total PITA. I found him a lovely guy but not quite the bimbler you’d think. He’s straight forward company and works pretty hard but doesn’t appear to have cracked the happiness thing yet, carries a lot of weight on his shoulders. But yer still a very nice guy. When we got to Scotland due to Covid restrictions we couldn’t enter as a group so thats where the route officially finished, although people did carry on individually I told him we were able to take our time so could he suggest some roads. He seemed to zone out from his surroundings and marked up my map with the encyclopaedic knowledge of a rain man! It was worth the trip cost for that alone.

I suppose it would be bound to have some noise absorption qualities but can’t imagine it’s worth the hassle.
