  1. Thanks Clive, at least someone round here can do a mod/admin job
  2. Congratulations. Doesn't seem five minutes since you bought it! What is this "extra money" you speak of? Is it like spare wine?
  3. Hmm iPhone didnt find it and MacBook didnt find it. Just come up with 'Your day today' obviously missing something.
  4. @XTreme the ‘Result!’ thread keeps disappearing from the search function? Can’t find it. Help?
  5. I think you’ll find no-ones told them that the plasticine is for stealing casts not making parts
  6. So many jokes there I’d make if I wasn’t so polite
  7. Hmm well had a change of heart on the van cos missed a trick. Had only put down the deposit, was gonna pay on Saturday so cancelled it. It’s a stop gap so why buy it? Can lease a brand new one for three years cheaper than I can buy it and claim it back against vat. That way it’s a new vehicle and we can hand it back before it blows. Winner winner chicken dinner.. I hope.
  8. I read about the problems but it’s a stop gap and we’re unlikely to have it long so meh.
  9. Bath park n ride? Not the usual bus experience. For starters you have to be able to afford a car to use it and secondly have to be able to afford to go into Bath… you money bags
  10. When I as the last time you got on a bus? Theyre feckin awful. It turns up, you cram on with a load of people who seem unacquainted with personal hygiene and after 30-40 mins going round every stop in the area the 15 minutes journey you really want to make finally begins. No thanks.
  11. Nope. For reasons I wudna reveal on here it had to be a petrol vehicle. If it blows up it blows up but then so will every other euro 6 car It’s not gonna have a hard life, it’s limited to 80 mph and won’t be seeing much mileage cos it’s only for emergency returns and those cobbled streets with basements that businesses dump their paperwork in until they can’t cope with it anymore!
  12. Bought a van 2019 Fiesta. Pick it up Saturday
  13. It was but I don’t own a Honda
  14. Yerp, to my great showy of shame I saw a good plate with the bottom three letters ‘BSA’ for £275 so I snapped it up. Cos I reckon even if the bikes a loada rubbish I’ll make my money back on the plate
  15. Today I have handed over my reg number to Fowlups for my apparently incoming bike (yeah yeah we'll see), the flat I was looking at has been removed from the market so kinda good cos it saved me having to go to Brizzle for a viewing but then saw a van that might do so now going to bloody Brizzle anyway Booked flights back to Spain for end Feb
  16. Have you tried canker powder? It's called Thornit in the UK. It's mainly for the ear mites dogs pick up very commonly from grasses. Apart from the head shaking and scratching it also causes wax production, wax traps moisture that then causes infection. It's an old fashioned thing that vets don't seem to bother with now but it worked very well amongst my peers in the dog showing world. Used to cost about a tenner and lasts forever.
  17. That can knock it down to a large share decent house for around £550 plus bills. Most of the good stuff gets nailed down now, leaving til later only leaves the stuff no-one wants or can't afford, as we learned to our cost
  18. You can get houses outside the very centre under 200k Just not where I want to buy.
  19. Right in the centre if you're talking about rent it varies wildly from £700 all in on a large house share to £900 plus bills but can be as low as £500 for the shitty don't want to live in that houses. Buying a two bed right in the centre (ie walking distance from everything) is £230k ish. Go out of the centre but still on good bus routes it drops significantly and you can get a three bed house that'll need work, then for £300k or more one in reasonable nick.
  20. Pah you wouldn't have made it this far.
  21. @boboneleg have seen a flat in Redcliffe that looks alright, comes with allocated parking which is unheard of in the centre so going to have a look. Apart from being stupid over priced is there anything I need to know about Redcliffe? Looks clean, tidy and undruggy.. for Bristol
  22. Been looking at flats in Brizzle centre and vans all day. All the bullshit is melting my tiny mind
