These two. The first is understandable and the other is dumb. This one means you are approaching a dangerous section for traffic accidents and it is more closely monitored for excess speed so there may or may not be mobile speed camera’s ahead.

Google maps says the direct route is 5hrs and 20 mins and 390km, with breaks that's a fairly long day, be kind to your kidneys and take plenty of water. I'd say thats hero stuff. I'd crap myself seeing sand being on a GS, mind you I've got a lot further to fall than you and less chance of getting the bike back upright
-
My first thought was oooh that’s a heavy bike for sand, brave… or daft

Ground Bambi bones.

Definitely something like that. I'm guessing it's to make the road surface more resistant to the blistering heat in July and August?

@yen_powell What is the white glittery stuff in tarmac that makes some roads sparkle in the sunshine?
-
What's that you say? More of the same weather tomorrow? Why thankyou

Me too. A real monkey bike.

Just got an email saying on this occasion they will let me off the parking fine (for parking in the middle of nowhere outside Starbucks) but next time they won’t. Can’t be good for business because I won’t be going back there.

Another day in paradise

Gonna drop to 11 degrees overnight here. Nevermind tomoz is 7.6 hours of sunshine reaching 20 degree’s. Life’s rough

I wish it worked like that back here (ie the south west of England) but there are also eu exceptions for small traders. They don’t necessarily have to declare ingredients, they also don’t freely supply an ingredients list. A lot of ‘fresh’ butchers meat comes straight from their freezers. If you ask if it’s for sure fresh and they know the ingredient list then dandy but they may well use pumped then defrosted meat. Just ask one if there’s any extra ingredients, after feigning ignorance if you insist it’s often quite a surprise.

How do you plot your route? Or don’t you? -
I usually do but they are the shots that command the money.
-
I said “if it could” can’t get any closer to an explanation of why I can’t be arsed without involving a dog

More a VIP than gate crasher me
-
Fair doo’s you’ve got me there I do like reading ride reports.

You know when you see a dog with it’s head hanging out of the vehicle, unbridled joy crashing all over its face? Wouldn’t stop to take a photo of itself or the scenery (if it could) would it? It’s a lost in the moment time isn’t it. That’s me. I think I’ve inadvertently just described myself as a dog

Stop my enjoyment to take pics? Not likely

Carpet divider interference you say? Was a ginger Welshman in the room?
