  1. He's just moved house. I suspect he's unpacking, working, reading a few pointless posts and sleeping.
  2. I've got to go n watch another episode.
  3. All I can see are WIZARD SLEEVES AAARGH DAMN YOU SIX
  4. So far the soundtrack has been excellent. None of the awful searing violins or tragic piano pieces they love shoving on anything war related, it all fits very well.
  5. I'm only on episode 1. It opens with Bon Scott so it should be right up Petes ally!
  6. No loyalty, as suspected a fickle fucker.
  7. Maybe. Depends the weather up in those mountains. I've only got heated grips you know I did find two polystyrene boxes a couple of days ago that'll fit perfectly in my bins so if it happens you can get pie'd right up
  8. You're transitioning? Ah that explains a lot.
  9. Oi! I plan to ride very soon.. next week when I'm back in the sunshine
  10. You missed them they were evolutionary.
  11. You lot may have already watched this (I think I'm late to the party) but just watched the first episode of SAS Rogue Heroes. It was very good, first 15 minutes intro were excellent and the rest of the hour very entertaining. Based on true events and full of the usual insanities of war. Hope the rest is as good as the first one. On BBC iplayer.
  12. Well I did eventually get not one but two and they have served their purpose brilliantly. It's not considered polite to stand with your hands in your pockets on some occasions and it was going to be so cold no formal wear glove would cut it but stand there with your hands in a victorian style furry muff well thats more than acceptable. Yes I'm aware that sentence is laden with possibilities
  13. A mate of yours @Six30 https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/nov/20/kent-tory-councillor-pictured-in-blackshirt-at-far-right-event
  14. I resisted saying the same thing so I guess it hasn't been said twice now That is true but I have only heated grips on all my bikes and when I doggedly committed to riding everywhere through the winter on a bike they were enough used with good gloves.
  15. True true but you know it did drop down to 17 degrees in Spain one day I have taken the Himalayan off road in February in fog n rain, got soaking wet and freezing cold.. apart from my hands that were toasty.
  16. Looks most sensible. When you see all the parts vulnerable to anything on the ground you wonder why they're sold without a guard in the first place.
  17. Oh yer definitely. I don't count JRH though cos I stayed friends with him off the forum. Met up with him a few times. He's sound as a pound. And very knowledgeable. If I get stuck on something electrical he knows exactly how to explain it so a pleb like me can understand
  18. Crazy slaphead tweaks snowman nipples? Poor Marcel, thats just mean
  19. Is he on covert operations? And even if he is which of those tosspots would you want anyway? Rennie, Rennie would work. and I'd like Gymwich back. err yep I think thats it.
  20. Is there someone from another forum thinking about joining?
  21. I have heated grips on my Himalayan and that's plenty, no guards or muffs needed.
  22. He'd just assume one of the boys had borrowed my laptop
  23. Damn I got to go make the most of this caffeine boost and get that gratin made. Laters.
