  1. Total PITA when it comes to treating children. Caused changes in the law to allow medical staff to overrule the parents and allow blood transfusions etc on minors unable to give consent. The training and paperwork involved is phenomenal. Ultimately you were allowed to act in the child’s best interests and sort it out in court later but elective surgery is a different ball game from emergency treatment Totally mental.
  2. Dunno Dint have any interest in him.
  3. Half an hour into ‘The Watcher’ can’t decide if it’s worth persevering with? Anyone seen it?
  4. Me neither other than he occasionally exhibits odd behaviour and says strange things.
  5. Is the Suzuki a gel plate? I got advisories on my Bandit and Mutt for the the exhaust even though the Mutt has the stock exhaust and the Bandit is really quiet, my quietest exhaust by far. I was warned in that patronising tone some twat men reserve for women that made me want to slap him round the chops - they are tightening up and I should be careful etc etc. When he finished layering it up trying to frighten me I said “So are they legal or not?” He reluctantly reply yes. My lip curls up and I scoff at him (not deliberately, it was involuntary) and leave. Never had a problem before. Didn’t take it back there even though the retest is free the bloke was clearly a flexing prat. Took the Mutt somewhere else, didn’t mention the last place and when I picked it up the two mechanics said the guy who did your last MOT was a bit picky wasn’t he? Some of those advisories are very petty. That cheered me up.
  6. Don’t get it are woke folk supposed to be for or against Musk?
  7. I don’t have gel plates but I like them
  8. What about raised characters like on gel plates?
  9. He’s more hymns, rugby songs and a bit of crap pop than rock n roll
  10. Mr Slowly had to sing at school. It was compulsory. Chapel every day and House singing competitions that they all wanted to win. And then rugby where singing is of course a key part. As a result he can really belt out a tune. He’s a morning person and I’m an afternoon one. Took a good 10 years to stop him singing at 6am, Im amazed I let him live
  11. Yer the hole in the wall looked a safer option than your jinxed bike breaking place

  16. What is that? Mr Slowly being the happy soul he is often starts singing, particularly first thing in the morning, I have to say the shanty’s piss my dark heart off most The only shanty Ive enjoyed has been the one in Jaws but I think that’s because it’s in Jaws
  17. In episode 4 of the motorbike show the CCM heritage 71 he rides has a side mounted plate but they’re illegal (well not entirely, if there was one on each side of the wheel the plate would be viewable from both sides and legal but look as stupid as hell) so I’m surprised Henry Cole highlighted it and CCM are releasing it like that.
  18. Not amused, you weren’t featured in the episode, and I was denied my oh look it’s Boboneleg on the tv moment, that’s him off my Christmas card list
  19. Get over yourself man. Like it or not you’re also a biped. You may have accidentally perambulated somewhere and taken a picture too.
  20. Nice pic. That lovely leafy green and autumnal turn is one of the reasons I’ll never completely leave the UK
  21. Petes on the other side of the mountain, he may well have some greenery somewhere but it’s Pete so he’s going to end up riding to a desiccated decaying dilapidated deserted down at heel hell hole, it’s the Swansea in him Got carried away with the alliteration there This side of the coast has its own microclimate that does a slightly different thing to further in mainland.
