I wrote that. It's based on experiences of being on a forum full of wankers.

So what finally prompted the move? Just fancied a change, gone off the BMW or the new thing got something going on you wanted?

Tomoz a little ride out for some breakfast, not sure where yet. Then sorting out bike stuff. Mutt for MOT on Tuesday, think it will fail cos the guy who has been passing it regardless is out of the equation now. Last time I rode it if you didn't keep the revs up it would cut out. That and the left indicator is blinking rapidly (roughly double time) and its not a bulb so I suspect some quality Chinese wiring is doing its thing Think Im gonna drain the tank and put fresh petrol in it see if that makes any difference, probably won't but you can live in hope. Would like to take it for a longish ride see if that helps but its got no MOT so thats not an option. Settled for booking it in to an MOT station thats 40-50 mins away so hopefully it'll be kill or cure.

I was once nervous about having surgery. The anaesthetist winked at me and said don’t you worry I’m going to mix you up a really good cocktail. Wow he was a skilled, I had a fantastic time, can’t remember all of it but I do remember asking him to marry me

Oh shit which one am I?

Thanks lovely. Generally I do

Generally I am a relaxed sort. I know the British are understandably not a particularly liked breed but I have had the warmest of welcomes. Lots of smiley eyes even in places as dull as the supermarket. I'm a bit frustrated now with my lack of spanish language. Thats something I have to tackle asap.

I completely agree with boboneleg. Great pics. Lovely write up. Im always happy to see/hear someone who has responsibilities gets out on a trip. Food for the soul. Manner from heaven.

They even give you free food here just for ordering a drink! They haven't bought into the savage ideals of capitalism, working out how to get every cent from every interaction at every opportunity isn't their bag. I love it. Last saturday a taxi driver took us to pick up a very large food order, I needed him to wait while I picked it up and then give us a lift home. I explained I was happy to pay for the waiting time, he wouldn't have any of it. Back home that clock would have been started and kept running double time. He picked up a mate of his en route and they both jumped out of the car and helped bring the bags into the house. Its a different mentality.

He doesn't have a particularly slapable face, quite the opposite Hmm best lay off the bloody marys

@MooN great stuff. Love the pics and the write up. Chuffed your wife got you a proper phone, they make life a lot easier, well they do so long as you're not a social media sucker.
-
Well I know that now but my experience of the word meant they wanted far more than a hug Thats why I was surprised to read Sir Fallsalot saying he was waiting for his wife to come home and give him a cwtch. He's not normally that rude
-
Im rather relieved to discover cwtch doesnt mean what I thought it did

I've got a bit of sympathy with the excessive signage. Thats grown up out of bad experiences. People come for a walk down where I live but don't stick to the path because they want a gander at other parts of the farm and it's feckin dangerous. You'd be driving a tractor at full pelt and some gormless twat thats not supposed to be there would suddenly appear in front of you. Tractors do not stop easily. Or annoyingly some arsehole would decide that the lane was quiet so it was ok to park their car up and go off for a walk blocking access. One woman asked if it was ok to take some pictures, we said yes. She stepped backwards off a bank fell and broke her ankle and then tried to sue us. I have many more stories about the public being thick as shit on the farm doing stuff that makes you wonder how they're still alive or why they want to cause so much damage so I get their pain!
