Amazon Spain has the same items for the same moola, I just linked the uk site for ease of reading. But thanks for the heads up I don't see the advantage of ordering from the UK unless its a specialist thing you cant otherwise get.. like curry powder

Finished my weekend by doing a bit of ordering, the solar thing is essential but looks good, I dunno the multimeter I spent £££ on because it does data logging and it will do all the recording and send it to an app, hopefully helping me avoid the mathematical car crash that surely ensues if Im involved in the calculation and.. I just wanted it https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08K3BQTNK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1X24PMZYWVYTH&th=1 https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08NJT38SF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And you can't help or support them if youre cut out of their lives. If it looks bad from the outside imagine what its like behind closed doors Letting rip on what you think doesn't get you closer to getting them away from it, it gets you pushed out cos your a threat. And who are you satisfying with that stuff anyway, theyre not gonna walk away especially if they have children. You just arm their nutty partner with the weapons needed to nail the door to you ever more firmly shut. I know this from bitter experience, its and extreme example but nobody liked my sister in laws boyfriend and everyone told her so but she loved him and defended him like you would. When she finally realised he wasn't right in the head she felt she didnt have anyone to turn to. He stabbed her 9 times. Being a mans man doesn't come into it its love, dominance and abuse. Happens everywhere.

I’ve filled in Passenger Locator Forms 18 times now I am sick of them but once you’ve done it a few times you’ll see they aren’t asking the same things multiple times (which is definitely how it feels to start with), they’re slightly different questions that really nail down where you’ve been within a country and for how long, how many counties you’ve crossed, whether you’ll be arriving at the actual place you’re staying on the same day you’re arriving in the country, if you’re not going straight back and have other destinations on route etc etc. My major gripe was that you couldn’t complete the UK (flight) PLF form until you could enter your seat number and budget airlines won’t let you check in until 24 hours before the flight unless you pay for an allocated seat (£££) so if your printers pissing about or your connectivity is up the spout that was way too close for comfort! But I see they’ve just changed it to remove the pre departure test hassle (videoing yourself shoving a cotton bud up your schnozer and sending it to some poor sod to have to watch you coughing wasnt fun) and they removed the ‘your seat number’ part on the form- haha up yours Ryanair

Not a lot of love between her own mother and her then Folk are weird. You turned it all around though Pete, your own boy’s prepared to jack in a good job and move to Spain! I know he’s not going to need to but he said he would!

I’m glad you have the satisfaction of knowing you did things the way you wanted to. If your old mans looking down from the ether then I’m sure he’d be proud of the loyalty and resilience you displayed. If someone constantly makes you feel bad it’s bad, whatever their excuses or baggage, if they keep deliberately hurting you, they should get the heaveho regardless of what rights they think they have over you. I don’t feel the same obligation you do, I (almost) completely emotionally detached from her, which is very liberating and when she noticed her hooks didn’t land she surprisingly wasn’t bothered, I just became irrelevant- until decades later when she wants to secure care for herself. I’m not up for being used and manipulated, again. I think we stick in shit situations for too long. We’re all taught endurance and toughness are key traits for survival but it means people forget most of the time they can simply walk away from a shit job, shit relationships or a shit place to much nicer times. As for your Ma’s final kick from beyond the grave, that’s just plain cold calculated nasty.

Whatever floats your boat, is it the big crayons that attract you?

Folk always have the notion theyre going to be healthy up to the moment they shuffle off, spoiler alert- theyre usually not. Its everyones preferred option, but old age doesn't give a hoot about that. So unless you've got a crystal ball then you have to be realistic about what old age is likely to look like for you and usually it includes hospital appointments at some point.
-
People don't realise how knackering frequent hospital appointments are until they have to do it, its a PITA you know better than most!

Thanks. Appreciated.
