You’ll find summink when you really have to. If its competitive, then it involves aggression, combine that with physical exertion and it takes on a life of its own, it’ll be enough to release the pressure. Maybe not at the beginning but once you get into it it will. But if rugby means that much to you then you shouldn’t give up cos other people think you should though, that’ll just make you sore in a different way!

Nothing can fill its place because theres nothing else like it but that doesnt mean you wouldnt get into another sport and enjoy it, just takes a bit of time to adjust and get good at another discipline. I don’t think you’d find that part difficult, sporty people dont have much trouble tuning into another skill set and rugby involves the majority of the necessary transferable skills- balance, speed, strength, stamina, eye hand co-ordination, strategy, I could go on.. oh look at the length of this post..I have I’d put in a small plea that you find something low impact though cos active people don’t take it very well when they cant be sporty anymore. You gotta look after what you got with the idea you’d like it to keep working for as long as possible. Trust me when I say ex sportsman arent a lot of fun if they dont have a sport to pursue.

Every now and then you see a proper eccentric mi baber and marvel at the worlds oddities, the man that is not his aerial trike collection.

I like your template, nicely done. Will it look ok, youre best placed to know, there are too many variables the most obvious being how skilfully its cut whether the type of material suits the bike. My main concern would be the vinyl youre using would be either too thick to be able to cut an appealingly smooth rounded corner or too thin to look good on the bike. So long as you can heat it up and remove it if it doesnt work theres not a lot to lose Look forward to the pics!

Don’t know why Im getting dájà vu?

Like anyone that holds onto their position inspite of incontrovertible evidence, they know too much. Im putting my money on some sort of deviant love tryst that went awry between admin, Six and an unknown third party of the four legged variety.

Not a lot (my favourite type of weekend). Got a bit of experimental cooking lined up, a dodgy sounding pudding that is essentially a deconstructed Jaffa cake of a tiny sponge then a strongly flavoured fruity flavoured disc topped with chocolate sauce (thinking clotted cream to go with that one) and testing out some different vegan ‘creams’ whipping ability, hoping to reach stiff peak stage for icecream making. Ooh the excitement. Tomoz the youngest want to cook us Sunday lunch of “Curry the whole shebang” I see a fire extinguisher and washing many many pans in my future And one for those of you that got stuck on “whipping ability” and “stiff peak stage” … not what you were hoping for?

Naughty I dont know what youre talking about.. Alcohol has a huge impact on blood sugar, diabetics struggle to maintain glucose levels and are at high risk of hypers and hypos when they drink that are often mistaken for intoxication or hangover because they seem the same. If I was diabetic and wanted to drink Id invest in a much closer monitoring system that lets you adjust your intake and stick to less damaging drinks. Spirits with sugar free mixers are the go to.

Theres a lovely word to describe them- mumpsimus /ˈmʌmpsɪməs/ noun a traditional custom or idea adhered to although shown to be unreasonable. a person who obstinately adheres to old customs or ideas in spite of evidence that they are wrong or unreasonable.

More like their membership to the tinfoil hat wearing flat earth society didnt give them the attention and status they crave… ooh a cause I’ll jump in on that, loves a bit of crusading me… Im percent committed.. could you just remind me what are we fighting about again?

@Grace (BikeHedonia) Great stuff. If youre after feedback and tbh Im not sure Im comfortable giving it (cos people who dont produce content should just shut up and appreciate that other people do) then the day three stuff was up a level. Pictures and footage with an interesting story and a bit of factual stuff thrown in. I like the sound quality of that voiceover. I didnt know rubber was transported as goop, never given it any thought!

So very sad that stupidity kills. If the establishment werent such a lying bunch of aholes there wouldnt have been the level of mistrust that allowed this bullshit to flourish. My sons guitar tutor Cliff Moore (Gary Moores brother) is an antivaxer and then yep you can guess the rest. Fortunately they managed to retrieve him from his induced coma mostly intact but then they had to repeatedly sedate him due to him freaking out he was going to die. I read a heart breaking piece in the paper from an ITU Dr saying they were utterly broken by having to explain to the antivaxers (who now occupy all ITU beds) that while they begged for the vaccine rather than go into an induced coma that it was too late. Watching them say goodbye to loved ones while everyone cried knowing it was unavoidable was too much. He then went on to say his patience had worn thin and the government had a lot to answer for but as we dont like to get political on here Ill leave it at that. Tragic.

Came home for December cos its a busy family and work time and now Im here I wish Id skipped all these annoying party invites and running about in miserable weather by staying in Spain But I know Ive got very limited time having Christmas dinner with my sons and mum n dad before theres a hole created by them going to girlfriends families instead or one of my parents popping their clogs so Im happy to crank up the excuse machine for people I dont care for and Im going to really relish making a humongous feast of far too many dishes more than usual this year. Oh yeh.

Nope not even slightly but the Pfizer arm was sore. Not a problem so long as your husband remembers not to squeeze you.. Dunno what the law is that says once you have a sore spot everything will be magnetically drawn to hit that but I swear I never normally do stupid shit like walk into door frames

Yes thats dandy and what Mr Slowlys and I have had. Yen will likely be offered the flu jab at the same time too as thats what most places are offering. I was happy to stop having the flu jab when I left the NHS, I only had it to protect the vulnerable patients from me unintentionally infecting them but now with everyone’s immune systems undoubtedly depleted I gladly said yes.
-
Two different types of covid vaccine at the same time? Or the flu in one and the booster in the other? The former I dont see why you couldnt but wouldn’t fancy an overload dose in one hit myself without extensive testing, Id rather have a decent gap. The latter no problems, completely different style of vaccine.
-
What do you mean having two together?
-
My brother in law is an antivaxer and has stopped his whole family getting the jab. His wife is an exfriend of mine from student nursing days and I can’t fathom how she can be so stupid considering how many vaccinations she would have given. He has persuaded my sister in law not to have her booster I don’t tend to hold extreme views about anything but the antivaxers have led me to one fairly extreme imagining. I think it would be very handy if we could just persuade all the antivaxer to live in the same area, then the rest of the population could carry on like normal and when covid finally reached the paranoid mad/stupid congregation of antivaxers firstly all the necessary resources could be concentrated in the right place and secondly the populations IQ would go up which society as a whole would benefit from. You know let a bit of the ol’ Darwinism do its work…
-
Thats correct they think it gives a broader resistance. But that may be tainted by Astrazenica tapping out of vaccine production.. they had no choice really
-
They’ve not updated the system, thats old info, youll get jabbed You’ll likely also get two invites because theres more than one IT system and the info is being entered manually (at a snails pace) from sheets hastily written at the centres in that speedy tech proof format… BIRO

Id say Buckster has a rare way with words, reckon he would make a superb playwright. I can see some crime drama on the beeb hailed for its gritty dialogue and dark content. Course he’d have to find legit sources for his material otherwise all the precise detail on how to dispose of the bodies might raise some suspicions

Jesus thats a brutal choice
