  1. Shell V power is E5 But its not always available in all forecourts. it can be dodgy assuming you can get some.
  2. Now you come to mention it. I don’t think Speedy was suitably reverential in Stu’s direction. He reckons he’d had the hump with him and wanted him gone since a disagreement about some sort of measurement (can’t remember details) and he’d said he’d rather take the word of the definitive standards manual over the incorrect info from a bus driver…
  3. Hehehe. No you weren’t about at the time. I remember protesting about why Speedy didn’t get reinstated when Six had but I just got a load of flannel about Speedy not being welcoming to newcomers. They’d love Buckster ay
  4. They often offer a cup of tea which I think is rather nice of them. In the summer they put picnic benches outside and there’s usually bikers sitting outside enjoying a free drink. And more importantly they price match so you don’t get ripped off. They’ll also get in anything you want which I like cos you can compare and handle the goods before buying
  5. I dunno I missed it but you got yourself banned and immediately reinstated at the same time. Rumours were you cried at Stuart cos no other forum would have you
  6. I’m going to the NEC Monday and that’s on my hit list to have a gander at. I’ll take some pics for you. Im going with @Six30’s first love Speedy23 who he trolled so hard on his true feelings were clear… Ill send him your love You’d like him Pete, Six got them both banned but then somehow six was reinstated and Speedy was banished. I’m sure Six will be along shortly with the details of their love affair..
  7. Oh yeah cross country skis.. so cool. What? Put slippery sticks on your feet and hope to defy gravity ok… the thighs cannae take it Jim
  8. Great minds.. or just you and me Only thing is I haven’t insured my bikes cos the auto renewal was £270 per bike (for two separate policies) which is a massive hike and the MCN emailed cheapest quote with the same damn insurance company is £116 so I cancelled the auto renew to give me a time to find a good price which Ive not yet done. That means the 125 is the only bike ready to go.. or not who knows it is chinese I think its the 125s turn in the sun.. the icy cold sun but the sun
  9. Ooh I dunno its pretty but if its a really heavy/blizzardy type place its not great for bike riding is it?
  10. I did, I like them, theyre honest about the helmets and I prefer to buy from a bricks n mortar place n just to be nice Dean gave me another fiver off. You’re not gonna tell me theyre awful now are you?
  11. Love Charlie Brown Dont suppose Canada does the light dusting of nothing that dissolves on contact does it? I bet its proper snow followed by enormous snow?
  12. Yer not everyone’s wandering around in sheepskin jacket with a lux van and multiple bikes.. wait I just bought a sheepskin jacket.. Im confused am I insulting six or talking about myself.. hang on Ill do six’s response just to cover all bases. Twat
  13. Just bought the Schuberth C4 pro. Apparently the C3 is good, C4 is crap and the C4 pro is good so long as you dont want to use the integrated coms kit that wiggles lose from its connectors (I hate coms anyway). Its extremely comfortable (for me more so than the neotec 2) and the flip is very easy to use one handed. Its a snug fit round the base of the helmet so I find it much quieter that the neotec which as some speeds would whistle. I tried it on at the same time as the Caberg Duke II which I really wanted to prefer what with it being a third of the price (£135 V’s £340) and I think nicer looking but there was no contest, schuberth was instantly a better helmet and by such a margin the price was well worth it. I would have liked the C5 which is supposedly the dogs but thats back up to the £600 mark and its release is the only reason plebs like me can fork out for the now reduced C4 Pro Safety wise I can confirm it stops face removal as on its very first outing my head checked out the quality of stones used in Spanish gravel traps. They are stoney for anyone wondering.
  14. I like the sound of that “engrossing, amusing and appalling”
  15. Where I could be….. Where I actually am…
  16. My weekend will mainly consist of regretting prevaricating and laying flooring But I do have a lovely food delivery coming so a bit of experimental kitchen will bring bright spots
  17. Four times?!?! On what grounds? I mean that shizzle happens here too but its usually surgical cos it’s impossible to predict how long a broken persons op will take and there’s a knock on effect from that. Like the snapped drill bit in Mr Slowlys shoulder everyone else had to be cancelled so people get booted further down the line.
  18. I’m trying to keep my head down on this one cos if I’m up for nominaiton it’s gonna be gravel trap TOTY But I agree with @MooN I’m not even vaguely bothered by MOTY then again my Pa’s always said I’m a bit poty
  19. Given vast numbers of people infected the number of mutations isn’t much of a surprise. I said to Mr Slowly at the start given how vaccines work it’ll take a good 1-2 years from the original strain to a truly vaccine resistant one and by then it’ll be a case of tweaking it the same way they do flu vaccine. Im interested to see how long pharmaceutical companies can hold onto two separate contracts before a combined flu and Covid jab appears in the market. They are after all skilled raconteurs so maybe forever
